Royal Copenhagen Ice Cream Cone Co reviews
46Brighton Copenhagen is always clean and tidy, the staff are very polite and helpful. It is usually busy, but the line moves quickly. And the ice cream is consistently good.
Always good. I have difficulty walking past without buying a tub of one of the many varieties of ice cream. I have to pace my consumption. It's too delicious.
Really great flavours and great allergen advice listen on all the flavours, unfortunately the place was too busy and there was not a lot of seating areas.i recomend eating near the beach if the weather is good
Unprofessional customer service by one of the staff members at back counter.
Went there for a Uber pickup and asked for the order from back counter staff member. She was very rude to me and replied me ‘ I’m doing something else’ instead of giving me the order. The order was ready and one of the other staff members gave me the order. Disgusting behaviour.
The ice creams were delicious.
Service was great and the prices are pretty good too.
We’ve been in Brighton on a holiday and have loved trying the different ice creams here. Great customer service + reasonably priced. I also love how they do free chop dipped cones + toppings!
Amazing when you have cash and they still want to charge you the surcharge fees on a public holiday. That's illegal. They can't profit off cash when there's no transaction fee. And they can't do that by claiming it's for the workers as Copenhagen icecream claimed.
Surcharge is for Visa transactions! We deserve a refund
Edit: I did 'research' on the internet! You deserve half of 1 star. Customers always right because we pay the wages buying the icecream, not the surcharge. Do YOUR research!
Choc brownie was as hard as rock and my cup of English breakfast was SO weak! Should have had bloody ice cream!
The worst experience we ever had in this icecream shop. 3 times visit to Brighton branch and each time we have been served with a little young curly haired guy who even wasn't able to dig into icecream. We paid $5.90 each for literally a table spoon of icecream in a chocolate dipped cone. Never going back to this place again.
The worst experience at Brighton branch. Paid $5.90 each for a table spoon of icecream (embarrassing). Never going back to this place again.
My workmates & I visited with our intellectually disabled friends today at lunch time. The coffee & hot (white) chocolate were awesome & so well priced. But what impressed us more was how kind & lovely all the staff were to our special friends. It's important for all people to feel welcome & included in their community & you really made us all feel that way. Thank you SO much. We all look forward to our next visit.
Hot chocolates are absolutely stunning so much flavour, not too sweet. The wagon wheel was so good had marshmallow in the middle. Customer service was beyond amazing, 100% would recommend checking it out
I come here regularly as I like their ice cream, tea and coffee and every single time these untrained kids stuff up the order.
You ask for a turmeric latte or chai latte they say we dont do those then I have to grab the menu and show them that they do and they ask their mist experienced person and realize they were wrong and yes they do have it.
You ask for a turmeric latte on another visit and they give you a coffee latte. Went back and had it replaced no problems.
My wife had several other similar dramas as well.
These kids need to be well trained and study and learn the menu before serving people.
Food and coffee is good though but customer service is not that great. Understand that these guys are very you g but working there regularly you pick up the menu items quickly.
Tonight we went there again asking for Turmeric latte the little boy said we dont have it. He asked the girl next to him and she said no we dont have it. So I instead ordered a normal latte.
I then looked at the menu and noticed they do have it. So I asked if she can change the order as she was preparing it. I then said dont worry give ne the normal latte but add some turmeric. She said ok I can do that. Then received the latte after a few minutes and there was no turmeric in it.
Little bit of more effort by management to properly train these guys is not a bad idea.
Really getting popular.
Interesting meal selection & coffee is very good. Certainly worth a look especially now the rear courtyard has been utilised & seems popular with young mums
Management obviously lack the skills to effectively run a business, the children seem to be doing there best while the older staff talk down the back not very nice to see as a customer
My partner ordered a Vegan ice cream. Sat down to eat it and she noticed something didn't taste right. She took it back to check and the half sharp girl who clearly wasn't listening said "oh, I didn't realise. " FFS - that's criminal. Imagine if it was a nut allergy. Serious stuff up!
Good variety of ice-cream and affordable price. Close to the Jetty, so can enjoy the views while eating
Pretty tasty but gee whizz lacked much structural integrity. Instant melt factor, also put my thumb through the cone which a I swear never happens lol
I have lived in Brighton for years and whenever I speak to locals we all try to avoid this place. I went in there for the first time in a year today and straight away, the staff were rude. I stood at the counter and two girls and one boy completely ignored me when I wanted to ask a question about their menu. There was one other girl working in the store who was scooping ice creams and doing most of the work. They always stand behind the counter chatting rather than attending to their customers. I said to the girls "excuse me could I ask a quick question" and they completely ignored me. I asked them again and although they responded to my question, they were not friendly. When my order was ready, they said my name, dropped my food on the counter and walked off without even looking up at me. Again, this is the only store in Brighton where I receive no "thanks for coming" or "have a nice day". In addition, the store was not very busy, so there is no reason to say that they were rushing to attend to other customers. Please support smaller café's such as Big Shots, the Seller Door and CREAM. The staff in these café's, even as young as 14, actually create conversation and care about your presence in store. Really upset about this visit, again.
Went there for an icecream, came back with a wife a year later. Generous scoops to compliment the new deco. Try their Biscoff flavour. That's our favourite!
