Roy Amer Reserve reviews
40 This is a really lovely park. There is so much to see and do here. Great for families young and old. Watch out for all the birds in the trees next to the pond though, be prepared to be pooped on!
An Ideal place for a picnic.
Such a lovely area to walk, feed the ducks or just relax and watch the reeds away in the breeze
Lovely walking trail around nature and wetlands with free bbqs and local cafe Lakeside next door with great wood oven pizzas ️
Nice park with walking and cycling paths. Plenty of water birds and mozzies. Also has a public toilet and picnic facilities. Lakeside Cafe close by and a small playground.
A beautiful reserve to enjoy a walk, barbecues in abundance. Nice little playground, lots of bird life. Lakeside Cafe next to reserve. Lovely morning out.
Great place for a picnic, only down side is very angry birds currently around and kept chasing us away.
Took a brisk walk around the park. It was lovely to see all the ducks and wildlife while having my walk
Lovely areas for a picnic or barbecue with family and friends. Seating and tables are located all around the reserve. A great location with level paths for walking or jogging and for parents with strollers or anyone who wants to walk their dog. A variety of birds make the most of the small lakes and grasses.
A cafe is situated on the edge of the reserve for drinks and snacks.
Very nice place for leisurely walking around. Bbq's relaxing etc.
With toilets and also a cafe overlooking the park.
A good place to relax. But the area could be cleaner and prettier. Like the grasses should be trimmed regularly, lakes should be kept clean etc.
Great lawns & good play equipment for the kids. Some Great history on this location as it used to be meeting place for indigenous people of this land. A real eye opener on history & the way they now use the wetlands for many species of native bird life. Worth going out of your way with Restraunt on site! CHEERS rr
My puppy and i love going for walks here its clean relaxing andd serene with the ponds great trails we love it here
Beautiful park. Lovely wetlands area with cafe located adjacent. Good, paved walking paths and dog friendly.
This park is so gorgeous. You can feed the wildlife, you can have a picnic and there is a playground. My kids love riding their bikes around the lake. You can get a coffee from the cafe right next door and sit and relax on a park bench and enjoy the tranquil park and wild life.
Not a bad little park to walk to dog at. An ok Cafe next to it as well. Recently got a public loo by the looks of it.
This park with its lake is my local park. It was designed primarily as a walking park and is ideal. It does have a playground and a couple of BBQ/picnic areas. Currently there are some repair works in progress and a public toilet is finally being built. Great place to walk the dogs. Lots of birdlife around the lake. Just a pleasant park to be in.
Nice little wetlands to walk through. Kinda dried out this time of year but still lots wildlife around
Very beautiful, neat n clean place. I have been going there for last five years. I do there some yoga exercises. Love it.
A gorgeous series of ponds situated in a park setting with abundant birdlife. Free parking is available around the park with free bbqs with shelters and a playground for the littlies. There is also a cafe overlooking the Reserve with toilets available.
