Friendly Staff, cold beer and great food. The slow cooked Pork ribs we had in the Mick Molloy bar were amazing. We will be eating here again. Also sitting and having a few beers while listening to the locals sitting at the table of knowledge is very entertaining.

Courteous and helpful staff in a well-appointed hotel/motel. Meals were well prepared and presented. Future visits are assured.

Friendly staff. Fresh, clean rooms. Easy parking. Very pleasant to stay & see & walk along the Murray River.

Check out the museum on the top floor and the photos showing the building changes since the 1800's. Great verandah dining looking across to the Murray River. Super friendly staff and great food.

Ingle farm's annual winter golf getaway, stayed at the hotel, the rooms were great also the shower pressure was great, food and staff no complaints, if you are looking for a getaway

Horrendous accommodation, average food and very poor service especially from the girl working the sports bar tonight. Seriously, I wouldn’t let my golden retriever stay in these decrepit, smelly hostel rooms. The place should be condemned. The Renmark Hotel is a stain on beautiful Renmark.

After arriving in Renmark before 8.00am in morning we were lucky to be directed to the Renmark Hotel Bistro by another happy customer we passed on the street. Friendly & prompt service, fresh & tasty food & great coffee. & great value. We were very happy travellers & would highly recommend.

We stopped in for a few drinks after dinner. The staff appeared somewhat disinterested in serving. One young man behind the bar was emptying garbage bags from bins behind the bar and did not stop to wash his hands before preparing my drink. When we asked what time the bar closed I was told, 'whenever you leave'!
On the Saturday night we thought we'd try our luck with dinner. We had been playing in a sporting event all day so arrived (without a booking) at 8: 10pm to be told they stopped serving at 8pm - on a Saturday night!? !? They didn't even offer to check with the kitchen.
We stay in Renmark every year for this event. Very disappointing way to run a business!

Tonight my family and I decided to eat at the Renmark Hotel. First off I understand we came at a busy period and when we were advised our orders would Be taken in 15 minutes I was happy to wait. An hour later my 4 year old daughter still had not received her small chicken nugget meal along with ours. After following up on it twice it finally arrived. The food was REVOLTING! My beef schnitzel was dry and I mean chalk dry on the inside and the outside was nearly black burnt. The chips were so over cooked and crunchy there was next to no potato inside the actual chip. I honestly took one bite of schnitzel and one chip and did not eat any more than that. My partners food was exactly the same. Also the bar staff with the longer hair that had about 3 weeks worth of oil in his hair was probably the rudest bar staff I have ever dealt with in my life. When I asked politely for a rum and coke the response I got was “what.what one” when I asked for the one I wanted it was given the glass with a “there” and his back turned to me and walked off. Honestly I never ever complain and I sound like a Karen right now but this was the WORST place I have ever eaten. The bar staff need a a new job. I am visiting on a holiday and this has put me out of pocket nearly $100 and I’ve left the way I arrived.absolutely starving. Safe to say I will never come back to this restaurant and I will never be reccomending this place to anyone

All they had left on the day was one of their top rooms. Paid $160 for the night, the room was adequate for what we needed. Very clean and comfy. But when it came to the meals it was a real let down. I ordered the fisherman's basket with salad and no chips. On arrival the one piece of fish, 2 prawns, 2 scallops were massacred. You couldn't even put a knife through the fish it was that burnt. And the others were well over cooked. Half the plate was filled with chips and the so called Salad wasn't a salad. It was a bit a lettuce with a few tiny tomatoes and a bit of cucumber. Plus the salad wasn't even dressed. Very boring.
On return of the meal the fish was only replaced. So when my meal was returned to me
the prawns and scallops were stone cold. They were not replaced. Uneatable.
So for what I paid for it a very disappointing meal.
I left starving.not happy at all.

Menu lacked variety and the meals we recieved were really small for the prices we paid. Service was slow and had to wait around for our drinks.

My experience was a 3-3.5 star but by no means was it unpleasant. I regularly stop in at the bistro for a meal during my trips to Renmark. This time I was pleasantly surprised they’ve began adapting to table service which is due to COVID according to the wait staff. I ordered the Eye Fillet medium rare with Garlic prawn topping this time. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sauce and sides were very nice as with most other meals that are cooked here. However the bistro would benefit from wait staff taking orders after being seated a bit faster, had to wait 20 minutes before I was asked what I would like to order. After ordering, the meal took 35 minutes to arrive at my table. Some other family members came here for dinner the night after and said the exact same things. Great food but long ordering times and long waits for food. If these things can be improved on I can definitely expect a 5 star review next time.

The food never fails to please. I had calamari which came with a super-fresh salad and homemade tartare sauce. Such a contrast to the meal I had recently at another Riverland hotel which came with a packet of tartare sauce and a salad prepared some hours earlier which was dehydrated and limp and was served with dressing in a packet.

Beautiful, well presented meal. I had crumbed prawns. Great service and well priced. Hubby had calamari and loved it. Worth a trip 2 Renmark. Well done. Will be back again

The only steak on the menu was a $40 piece of meat the size of my palm, overcooked and disgustingly overpriced. The young waitress in charge seemed to have no idea what she was doing and there was no apology offered or acknowledgment of our complaint. There are much better places to dine in Renmark so won't be returning.

We had lunch yesterday and as a Gluten Intolerant diner I was very impressed with the waitress as she was helpful and knowledgeable. Both my husbands and my meal was absolutely beautiful, would recommend to everyone.

Rooms are clean and the view of the river from our deluxe suite perfection. Beautiful art Deco Hotel with friendly staff and a great little museum up stairs. A real gem.

Lovely hotel with magnificent views of the river. We enjoyed a lovely evening meal and breakfast. Good, clean rooms with all you need. Missed the 5th star as the hotel room bathroom seemed unsuitable for people over 5ft (low cabinet, low mirror etc).
Hotel position allows for lovely evening stroll by the river bank to hand feed the plentiful and curious possums - lovely.

Great beef schnitzel and the chips are beautiful and taste amazing great service would be good if garlic or herb bread was on the menu for entree purchases

Really impressed with the food and the service, have never experienced pub hospitality this good. Strange to say but best calamari cooked I've had and I know it's always a risk having it inland, super tender and no chew at all.

Shout out to Jen who had to deal with a troublesome customer and maintained professionalism and politeness while ejecting that person, that lady deserves a raise! Her situational awareness and managerial skills were great!

Looks like a great place to stay as well.
