Ramsgate Hotel

Great friendly service today and after our bike ride from the city we really enjoyed the Aussie Burger and Grilled barramundi- so moist, lovely and tasty. Will come again.

Recently at the ramsgate and enjoyed a great meal.
Didn't realise they had accommodation, made an enquiry with Nikol who was very helpful and will look at staying here soon.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. This used to be our local however tonight was the last straw. After waiting over half hour for 3 schnitzels all 3 of them came out cold including the chips! The size of the schnitzels was about the size of your hand and had zero flavour. For $24 each you would expect a normal size schnitzel and it to be at least warm if not hot!

Great place in winter. Food is as good with great flavours but the ribs were a bit tough. Need to go back to the steakhouse chips and please serve them hot. Overall great place

We had a great night, playing pool and having a few drinks. We also had a Birthday celebration meal and it was amazing. Very relaxed, and friendly service.
Prices are very reasonable.
Thankyou we will be back!:)

Took my daughter there yesterday for her 18th birthday dinner, ordered fish for 4 people came late and the fish dish smelled bad and tasted disgusting. We didn't finish the food. Really nice place but need better food for dinning.

Great food, very fast service, pity the family with children allowed their kids to cart wheel and hand stands in front of our table for the duration of our lunch.not appropriate! Not the hotels fault.

Came here because Henley SLSC was closed. Comfortable bar/dining area, friendly feel. Too many TV screens throughout the place. Food was very ordinary. Not likely to dine there again. Good for a drink and catch up.

Stayed 4 nights in a room with ensuite. Facilities in the room were great, room serviced daily. Bed was very comfortable. Staff through out the venue were friendly and helpful. Best feature was the location, right in the heart of Henley Beach.

Lovely meals, I had the ribs off the specials board, nice clean and tidy venue
Staff had excellent customer service
Accommodation looked new so I asked the lovely office lady some question, most helpful

Took my daughter's there on Sunday after she has had a bad experience before, I convinced her to give ramsgate another chance, but that backfired when we all ordered chicken schnitzel and mine was the godfather, upon eating my first couple of bites I should have realised there was something wrong when it felt cold, after 2 bites from the end I looked at my chicken and it was completely raw, I did not get angry but I asked for an explanation, I started feeling that this is not good enough from a restaraunt, the waiter apologised to me and gave me a refund which was a given, but had no apology from the chef, was promised a follow up the next day to see if I was ok but it never happened, even though I gave them my phone number, I started feeling a little sick and bought some medicine for stomach cramps and diahorrea, from my own pocket and had to take the day off work. I'm sorry but the least they could have done was to call me to see if I was ok, very unprofessional on their behalf, I should have listened to my daughter and ate somewhere else. This place is on my blacklist and I will never return there again and I will be warning my big circle of friends to avoid this place. I could easily have gotten salmonella, thanks ramsgate for for calling me to see if I was ok (NOT). I wouldn't of written a review if I had a call from you guys today as you promised. Phil. 12/4/21.

Food was nice but my steak was past medium and I asked for medium rare. But that's pretty common. Veggies not over-cooked which was great!

I was then pleasantly surprised to see that ‘management’ wanted to hear more and resolve the issue at hand so I deleted my review. I tried to contact them on the number they’d left me several times with no luck. I’m disappointed so I’m just putting this back up here.

Grea Pub ever in Adelaide, enjoyed the food and all the staff are very friendly and positive and very polite. Thanks to the manager

Great place for young and old.near the sea.indoor outdoor dining.moderate prices. Great choice on menu.generous servings, and staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Pub is in a great spot and for the most part has very friendly, accommodating staff. Gave a bad star earlier on due to being unreasonably angry. Its popularity as a pub can create a nauseating atmosphere when you're trying to have a meal. The beer garden is overall great, plenty of seats with a bar close by. As a pub it performs, as a club it lacks. Unnecessarily loud music during Covid. Hard to enjoy a drink and a chat when music's being blasted and you can't do much else. If you want a nice pub to go to for a drink/food with mates, this is the place. If you want to club, the free entry is good, but beyond that it's just another club.

Good meals for reasonable prices. Kids meals were coming out last when they should have been first.
Strange. Also, last meal ordered was first meal out.
Some things you never work out!
A fair selection of beers, a few craft beers included, wines and spirits.
Staff were really good and very polite.
This is probably not their fault, however, there's only one single handicap park.
What's with that? Incredibly poor but most likely a strange council decision. Had the Mother in law & other oldies with us and extra parks would have helped.
Fairly basic interior inside and looks a little dated.
Been here a couple of times & it's never really "gripped" me. But it's seems reasonably popular although never packed.
Just a couple of tweeks and it could be a great instead of median average. An extra star awaits in anticipation.

Had Lunch today with my Husband. We were first served by very friendly staff, my husband ordered the salt and pepper squid that was amazing and myself the chicken "caesar" salad that left me feeling less than impressed. The menu clearly lists individual items that are included in the salad anchovies being one of them, when I received my meal it was very evident that they were missing so I approached the bar to ask for the anchovies that were missing from my meal, I was served by a less than enthusiastic Covid Marshall and told she would ask the kitchen. When she returned to our table I was told the anchovies were in the dressing "which was not portrayed in the menu". I feel that the explanation would have been better received by myself had it been given in a friendly manner and perhaps a smile.

Definitely wouldn't recommend!
Had lunch here on Thursday and 2 people I was with both got bad food poisoning, both had a chicken parmi each! Very disappointing!

Good place to eat out great location!
Only downside waited for my meal and had to ask for it food didn't seem up to standard.
