Raj on Taj Hyde Park

One of the worst experience ever. The food was not up to the standards. They used to be good I can say. I previously rated them 5 but now for 2 instances, they have left me with a bitter taste. Will never return. The irony is, I asked them to spice up the food and they just added chilli powder instead of using the exact blend of spices which we sought when the food was ordered. Comparative of the food we had, prices were really heavy

Great staff. Service and food. Love the outside seating and the inside design. Lovely place with character.feel like I'm overseas everytime.

The service is top-notch. Food never disappoints. If you cannot decide on a dish, ask for a recommendation. They always hit.

I love this place, good food but the atmosphere is just perfect. Great for celebrations with a large group or just your significant other.

Its always said that Indian food outside india is not 'that' great. This place is an exception. Its almost like being in your own country.

Great atmosphere and friendly service.
The butter chicken, mutton rogan josh and nan were really awesome.
However, Mutton Biriyani was terrible.

Would highly recommend this place to anyone who is not craving for a Biriyani.

The atmosphere and food is great. Especially the coconut chicken and highly recommended cheese garlic naan. Those are amazing!

Came here on a Sunday night for a bit of an early Christmas dinner, and was suitably impressed.
They have an extensive menu with a wide range of vegetarian/vegan options, the wine list is well put together and fairly priced, and the service is extremely professional & friendly.
Each dish was well received and suited for sharing, the fish Madras being exceptional, the atmosphere is also quite nice, and lends itself to a more casual air.
Right at the beginning of the King William Rd upgrade, I highly recommend you start your evening at Raj on Taj, and walk on down to see what else the precinct has to offer.

We live in London and have been coming to Raj on Taj for over 10 years. It’s where we go to catch up with our Aussie friends and it’s become a highlight of our trips! Great, authentic food- plenty for the veggies and excellent vegan options! Lovely staff! Great atmosphere! Love this place. Look forward to our future visits!

Fave Indian of whole family get togethers. Never disappoints whatever we order. Every dish is packed with it's own unique flavours. Staff are always lovely. Our irresistible favourites are the Beef Rendang, Beef Vindaloo, Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Korma & anything from the Tandoor oven. Vegetarian dishes are equally delicious & we love the Alu Beans Masala, Navratna Korma, Alu Gobhi, Chana Masala, Mattar Paneer. The crispy Samosa, tasty Garlic Naans or the amazing Kashmiri Naan always on our order as well. 5 star meal experience every time!

We ordered vegan/vege based dishes but they were quite salty and average. I love saag paneer but it had this slight bitter taste. Their meat dishes could be better but we never tried them. Shame cuz the restaurant was beautiful and the servers were pleasant so i really wanted to rate higher.

Amazing night here for my mum's birthday. Food was incredible. Unfortunately staff were slow with delivering bottle of wine and drinks, also dessert plate to sing happy birthday to mum took about 3 times reminding them for it to come out. But best curry Ive had in a long time, beautiful spot outside to sit with fairy lights. Gorgeous place.

We had raj on taj couple months ago and we came back again. It was wonderful last time we were here. Thank you for the wonderful service and food.

Great interior decor and service was good. The food was good too but it was lacking authenticity. The roti was too thick and oily/buttery.
