Prohibition Juniperis is by far my favourite gin. However I was slightly disappointed by my experience, my partner and I were really looking forward to visiting prohibition in person. First impressions were underwhelming, staff leaning on the bar eating and drinking. When shown to our table the girl serving practically slammed the water and dirty glassware on the table, and delivered the food in much the same manner. When she brought out our gin flights, it was only after we explained how excited we were to experience the gins that she said ‘I better give you the full tasting experience’ and pulled up a chair to take us through the tasting.
It was somewhat redeemed as the night went on, the food was delicious and the drinks were incredible. But having first tried Prohibition at the Archie Rose distillery in 2022 during a collaboration, our expectation of services and presentations was much higher than what we were met with.

Spent the most incredible afternoon at Prohibition. Service (from the lovely Mon) was incredible - she explained everything, provided excellent recommendations and made a fabulous dry martini. We’ve wanted to visit for many years and weren’t disappointed. Highly recommend.

The Master Class is superb! A must! If you’re a Gin fan, then you will be missing out if you don’t participate!

Nice gins but definitely on the more expensive side.we did a flight and then had additional drinks.enjoyed the live music and the location is very convenient.i would suggest having a sheet to go with the tasting as we forgot the name of the one we liked the most

If you are in Adelaide it is worth a couple of hours to work your way through their different gins. They also have 3 types of beer if you need a palate cleanser. They have a wide range of tasty bar snacks, not necessarily a meal in the 'knife and fork' sense. Pro tip - get a flight of gins to get a decent discount when you purchase a bottle to take home.

The gin bar is a fantastic stop over for a quick gin. Proudly using only kangaroo island gins. Fresh and a delightful place to visit.

Shocking experience. Gin and food menu is a dog’s breakfast with no headings to make it easy to navigate. Have to wait ages for basic and very average food and even then, they got the order wrong. And only one choice of tonic water to go with the gin. Won’t be going back.

It’s good to have live music sometimes, but why people just keep screaming even though it’s smooth jazz? What are you yelling about? It’s not a pub street, there are so many residents living around, please shut your door and keep reasonable volume! Please consider others not only your business! It’s been so many times that the crazy noises continue until midnight, I mean come on, that’s too much

Great Venue and staff were absolutely lovely.
One criticism is the $50 grazing board, was a bit small for the price and only had a few bits of bread on it.
I work at a winery and make grazing boards, would recommened putting on more crackers or bread on a bigger board/plate so it looks bigger:)
Otherwise was extremely happy with the cocktail prices and everything.

Prohibition Liquor Company is a great place to drink, eat and catch up with friends. Obviously gin is their focus but they have other drinks if that's not your thing. Their tapas, slider and toastie menu has great variety. There's the cellar door, a cocktail bar and a coffee shop.

Mia is the best staff member, always smiling and makes an amazing coffee. She's a shiny gem in this venue

I recently attended the Popeye Gin Cruise, where the staff were fantastic & the gins amazing. My favorite is the Blood Orange gin. I also recently did the Cellar door fest where Prohibition gin also had a stand, again the staff were great. I must give Maddy & Phoebe a big thank you for both making my gin cruise fun & looking after us, it was really appreciated & keep up the great work guys.

Can't say enough good things about this place. Prohibition make some incredible Gin, after trying a huge variety there is not one yet that Indo not love. They serve incredible food and the staff are both knowledgeable and helpful. If you are a gin lover this place is one that you really need to check out!

We had the best server ever. Victor had awesome product knowledge and was very enthusiastic which made the experience great. The other staff were very friendly and we were seated straight away even though the place was super busy. One of them suggested the baked brie and omg that's a must have. Definitely not sharing it next time.

We hosted our engagement party at Prohibition Liquor Co and it was amazing. The food and drinks were wonderful and the service was outstanding. All of the staff were super helpful, attentive and friendly. We would highly recommend.

We had a great experience tasting a range of gins at Prohibition. We loved listening to the stories behind each creation as well.

The tasting paddle is the best way to sample a range of gins, and you can get up to 4 gins on the paddle. There were a range of gin based cocktails as well. The place had a great vibe, and we had a very relaxing afternoon sampling gin.

Absolutely amazing! Myself and 30 other ladies partook in their cocktail making class for a hens party over the weekend and couldn’t recommend it anymore if we tried.
The class itself was amazing and everyone learnt some great tips and tricks, food was delicious too!
The staff made the night- for everyone! They were all so personable, knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to be around.

Amazing set up, staff extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Had a quick bite to eat at the cafe before a sampling tray. Gins explained in great detail and well presented. Thoroughly enjoyed myself and would certainly recommend

We had a private work function and the staff were amazing, great service and will definitely be back.
