Princes Lodge Motel reviews
53 It's an old Edwardian double storey large premises. Rooms are clean, serviceable and staff are friendly.
Very happy to come back as walking distance (5 mins) to O'Connell Street and a 20min walk to city. Would be closer to 3: 5 than 3 stars
Nice old historical place with not alot of upgrades.
But VERY Good CLEAN rooms with basic amenities.very quiet apart from traffic which you really don't notice after a while.
I would stay again.
Wifi reception not in all rooms. A bit rundown. Made up by wonderful reception. Within the vicinity of the city.
Extremely unimpressed with the phone call I received from staff after my online booking did not go through. He was so rude which was completely uncalled for considering that I had voiced that I was confused as to why my booking had not gone through. The staff member was rude and when I tried to explain he hung up on me. Glad that my booking did not go through, I couldn’t imagine having to actually stay as a guest with staff like that working there.
A great place to stay very helpful peoplecould not do enough for you very clean great breakfast would recommend this motel easy to the city on the free bus
For the price I can’t fault the accommodation, but the rooms are very dated and we could hear the people in the room above us.
Good place to stay in North Adelaide. Walking distance to parks, cafe's, free bus around Adelaide. Good service & continental breakfast.
We stayed here on a Friday night in a standard family room in the coach house. It was reasonable quiet for a city location and clean with useful amenities. The continental breakfast was simple and wholesome. The room is not five star but for a convenient hotel out of the city centre it is good value. We will stay here again.
A fantastic grand 1913 mansion overlooking the parklands in the centre of Adelaide (North Adelaide) only 15 minute walk to Adelaide Oval. A very reasonably priced Motel with all facilities you need for a comfortable stay with ensite rooms and rooms with a shared bathroom with a Continental Breakfast included in the tariff. Book direct with this Well Managed Motel and enjoy your stay as we did for 4 nights.
Clean, budget hotel. Friendly staff and good continental breakfast. The decor is dated but it adds to the charm. The room itself was very clean which is really the main thing! Perfect location for exploring Adelaide too!
Hotel decor is dated, but it's close to city and Nth Adelaide shops, right on the free bus route to the city, parking and continental breakfast included. Modest rates and it's a winner for me.
Large family room, clean and well presented. Location and price can not be beaten. We had to change our plans and the manager was very helpful. And finally our daughter left a small Xmas present in room and the managers were happy to post it back to us. Highly recommend!
Beautiful hotel but my room was really shabby. Lovely location walking distance to shops, dining and botanical park and zoo.
Very convenient location typical colonial style building a very helping and kind customer service
Great location, room.was great.comfy bed, off street parking, friendly staff and bonus breaky great variety will stay again
Called up on a Sunday, they stated a deposit was not needed, then called up on the following Thursday too book in for 3 nights, and they wanted a $200 deposit, andrew was extremely rood over the phone, I would of loved too stay there with my daughter but after the customer service I got from Andrew I will not be staying there
The best/cheapest priced hotel accommodation in North adelaide. Breakfast is very basic- cereal, toast and coffee. The room was very tired and worn but clean. The building itself is in need of some maintenance. A short walk to the free bus service that runs all around Adelaide cbd. A short walk to O'Connell st with a good range of pubs, restaurants and a 24hr bakery.
A lovely place to stay. Quiet & peaceful the building has a lovely history. Highly recommend this motel.
So close to the city great value for money lovely atmosphere Andrew and David very friendly hosts we can’t wait to go back Michelle and Jim
