47Fresh food and cakes and pastries looked yummy as well, thanks to all the ladies who work there,
Just received my uber order, hot food packed on to of 2x chocolate donuts, common sense should be used. Wasted our money on the donuts!
I was in line waiting my turn and someone walked in and pushed in line in front of about four people including myself and the staff member saw this and continued to serve this person, she then turned to everyone waiting and said she just wants bread I’ll be right with u. Ummmm I just wanted bread does that mean I can cut in front of everyone! So rude and the staff accomodating this behaviour is rude aswell.
Really disappointed in the “fresh” cakes/sweets.
They were so cold and hard, not fresh at all. Cream has formed into some firm yuckyness.
This used to be a great bakery but 100% not baked fresh.
It's sad to see a once iconic bakery change so much, alot of the favourites are gone, the way things are made and taste is all different. Won't be going back in a hurry!
I went through the drive through at 3: 45pm, waited at the intercom but no one served me. I checked the website, they did not close until 5pm and the security windows were all open still, so they were not closed.
I drove up the the pick up window and waited, when I looked inside I saw two staff members talking. I waited a few moments more, then rang the doorbell for service, but neither of the staff approached the window, they just continued their conversation.
It was super rude and I won't be coming back. That's fine if you close up earlier than expected. But if you are advertised as open, the service window is still open, and you are 10ft away from that window, just come up and explain that you are have closed early. Don't ignore a customer until they get frustrated and drive away.
We've loved this place for over a decade but lately they constantly run out of food at lunchtime and rarely have enough staff. Sad to see a once excellent business go so far down.
Disappointed they seem to have removed the tuna & corn pie with potato on top, this was my favourite pie! Please bring it back!
I don't know what happened to this good bakery. My experience yesterday wasn't a good one. Not many Sandwichs and a Rude young girl served me, haven't seen her b4 probably won't see her again.what's going on.
Best food in town. Always friendly and quick with the food. The ol' girls make a great coffee.
Off street parking, good for “dine in” or takeaway.
Good range of baked products, sandwiches, rolls and coffee.
A regular customer - have never been disappointed.
We have been going there for a few years now but on the last visit I ordered a double cut egg lettuce and mayonnaise roll a serve of chips in a bowl after the girls finished talking to each other I was given my roll made upside down and chips on a box maybe if they talked and listened to the customer they might get the orders correct won't be in a hurry to return
Really good the soup was really nice and not watered down like they do on North East road Prices bakery
Staff young and inexperienced.
Came for lunch with my daughter and ordered a chicken pie - they didn't have any (I can understand this later in an afternoon but not at lunch time). Settled on a meat pie but definitely one of the worst pies I've tasted. Certainly not fresh and flavorsome. My daughter ordered chips and gravy. They told us it would be 4 minutes wait on the chips. 15 minutes later we asked where they were.they had forgotten to put them on! All the time waiting there were about 4 staff members just standing around not doing too much and could see we were sitting there still waiting! But not one thought to wonder why! If we didn't ask I wonder how long it would have taken for them to realise? ! Finally the chips and gravy came out. No fork! Seriously how is she supposed to eat them? ! When I went back up to ask for a fork they looked puzzled. Again didn't cotton on to the fact they'd forgotten to provide one.
2 stars because cost was reasonable and place is clean.
(No toilets on premises though).
If you're planning to come here, keep driving up Port Road and visit Ned Kelly Bakery instead. Better food and service.
Nice quiet old fashioned service.
Coffee was nice, even came with a little bickie, muffin was beautifully light.
Staff were very friendly and helpful,
Plenty of parking.
I would certainly return if I'm in the area and hungry.
Rheinland Bakery is superior, RHEINLAND BAKERY ARMY. HAIL BE TO RHEINLAND BAKERY. Prices flesh more like tastes like mice flesh. RHEINLAND BAKERY FOR EVER AND EVERYWHERE.
Went there yesterday and was closed. Would be nice if you had the courtesy to inform customers why this is. There was even an open sign on the door.
Massively expensive for a boring salad roll, lamington and drink: $16.50, I can get a pub meal cheaper! I won't go there again
Well what can i say.try a vanilla slice.best in Adelaide. Staff are freindly & polite, good old fashioned service with a smile.
Very nice potato pie, pepper pie was nice however the chilli kransky was alright, good coffee. Service was great and friendly staff
