Pretoria Hotel & Cellars

Overall, we enjoyed our lunch at the Pretoria, service was excellent, staff very helpful and friendly. The food was ok.vegetables were done to perfection, but the pork - which was the roast of the day - was really dry and tough. A little disappointing. Every restaurant in the world has off days though so we will be happy to come back in future.

This place has a great location and is a wonderful bar & pub. So spacious and lovely views over the river. If you're looking to stay overnight it's a very authentic pub hotel experience and the staff are wonderful however don't expect luxury. Wonderful stay!

Great meal and friendly service, very nice staff but slow service due to busyness needs another meal ordering counter and more bar staff.

Excellent service but the meals were very disappointing. Chicken Snitty tough and stringy salt and pepper squid tasteless, and to top it off chips were cold. Very average and not cheap.

Such a great spot and was nice to support them before they had to close due to the floods coming.

Relaxing afternoon with my husband and 94 yr old mother-in-law. The staff are very friendly and humerous.

Good food great location always competitive on alcohol prices I visit a lot as I'm a local and support local businesses.

While I don’t expect any venue to cater for me as a coeliac, meaning I must have gluten free food, I do expect that if you say you can, then bloody well do.

This is not the case here and I would advise any coeliac or gluten free people to avoid it.

Advertising gluten free food on a menu and it not being gluten free is being nothing less than opportunistic.
To help anyone understand, gluten to a coeliac is like salmonella to anyone else. Would you serve it? No.
Would you eat it? No.

So, before my whole family has sat down and ordered meals and drinks, please tell me you can’t cater for me. And that’s ok. I’ll go elsewhere.

A great pub with a community friendly vibe. Good food, drinks and a relaxed atmosphere. Nice views of the river Murray from the back deck and main dining area. Clean updated amenities. Drop in for chat with the friendly owner or book your next function.

Good food, good staff, good service. I had 3 meals here over 4 days including being in a group of 60 odd people. Great spot and impressively quick food delivery with the group.

Mannum always a pleasure to visit - plant shop middle of town ' fantastic. (A must visit)

Excellent and affordable food
I had the Pork and Chorizo Jambalaya which was excellent!

Our group thought the meals were good.our fillet steak however was so tough we couldn't eat it.

Food was okay. Been there before. Last visit not as good as time before. Did have oysters kilpatrick for entree they were nice and seafood plate for mains. Fish was very ordinary. Staff at the pretoria were excellent. 5 stars for them
