Fab food, fab and friendly service. Wonderful experience. The barramundi was large and delicious!

Incompetent staff, Very rude & argumentative management. Lied about why our meals were late & tried (in vain) to blame us. Saved by our banking app which showed correct time of meal being paid for.

I just was kicked out!
What did happen?
We have been in the pub earlier this afternoon around 3.15 pm, did have 2 drinks. Than we where going to Moonta, shopping at Drakes, bought a present at the gift shop and hat a drink at the pub and the dog did have water
Then we drove back because we booked a table for 5.30, arrived at 5.15
Ordert the meal and drinks, the meal was nice.
Then the waitress came around 6.50 accused us having
been there for 3 to 4 hrs.and not taking care of the cog. We told her that's not true but she didn't listen at all. She said she can proof it on the screen and I said okay let's do this that's when he asked me to leave her venue
And she did all of this very loud and in front of all the other customers!

Poor customer service, rude owner, had to wait 90 mins for our meals with a 2 yr old also had to pay $2 extra for veg which is 2 baby carrots and 1 piece of broccoli, when our meal finally came out the chicken was dry and well over cooked.we are regulars at the tavern however we will not be returning.recommend Primos in Moonta better meals and cheaper.

The meals, the venue and the staff are all fantastic, have a feed at the Port Hughes Tav, you won't be disappointed.

Busy place in the evening however staff very happy and accommodating. Food and service, excellent. Thank you for great Ribs

The Port Hughes tavern is a very nice spot for a meal. I had a seafood platter and was very happy with the friendly service staff. The meals came out in a reasonable time and all looked nice clean and fresh.

Very windy stay but nice park choices of near the water or inner. Good clean amenities and large outdoor kitchen with large TV.

The tavern is a lovely place. Service was great. Being there on a long weekend, it was booked out. It took over an hour to get our meal served however we understand they were flat out busy. The meal itself was lovely. We would certainly recommend it highly.

Great place the staff are freindly and Michael is excellent with customers will be back keep up the good work oh and the food was awsum

OMG ordered fish, chips, salad. It could be ordered as a half serve or regular, I wondered why, thought maybe for kids. Nup, half serve is what you would expect for what I paid for the regular, I seriously couldn't finish, and I thought I was good on the tooth. Best meal ever. And as is typical for all business, and staff a pride and respect in the service

Absolutely amazing food and great menu. Wonderful atmosphere and venue, lovely view of the jetty. Staff are outstanding. One of the best places in Port Hughes. Did I mention the food is amazing! Try the Stone Grill menu, you won't regret it.

Great Tavern on the beach and jetty, very friendly and extremely helpful staff, great food and wine selection, can get busy so it is good to book, huge car park next to caravan park. Has gaming and out door dinning.

Great Fish and Chips enjoyed to the max.nice if there was a bit more variety

Very nice people, cold BEER, TAB, Pokies, Very, VERY bad acoustics in front bar and worse in the dining room.

Well the first time a fortnight was just great. Three days ago my husband's had filllet steak very nice but very thin and small $33.00with gravy?
I had chicken snitzel very small, salad was extremely poor plus my order was for mushrooms sauce but was some cream wharever
Plus no bread rolls or bread ;so?

Friendly staff. Great food. Great serving size. Didn't have to wait too long. Reasonable prices. We also ordered a pizza to take home, to be reheated the following day. It was very tasty also. Heaps of topping. Will definitely go back again.

Our first experience of a stone grill rump and porterhouse steak. To die for. I wish I had taken a pic but I was too busy cooking and eating. Highly recommend the experience. Great friendly service too.

Friendly staff, beautiful meals and my change of chips and salad to hot vegies was easily done. Corona virus rules, implemented at all times.

Had lunch here on a Saturday the prices ok, I had half chicken shnitzel salad and chips 15 bucks was very good.the wife had lemon peper fish the salad and chips were good, but the fish was a bit ordinary also 15 bucks would go back some time
