Port Broughton Tourist Park

I recently stayed there in the school holidays with my daughter & grandkids for a week (too long). We had a spa cabin however the spa didn’t work, had to ask reception on 2 separate days to get someone to have a look at it then be told it’s not working. No reimbursement at all, could’ve just booked a normal cabin. No robe in main bedroom, needs a ceiling fan as air cond only really does main living area. Mattresses on bunk beds are thin as, not comfortable at all. No extra blankets at for family of 5, pillow covers need replacing as they were yellow. Thankful that I brought my own pillow. We had no matches for gas oven. Some oven dishes would be good so that we could cook in the oven. Gas ran out on Friday night, rang after hrs & they did fix it temporarily until can get more cylinders. More kids activities would be good. Paying $10 for face painting is just ridiculous! Maybe you need to look at other parks for ideas. If I were to recommend this park, I would say to only stay for few days as that’s enough.

Love this tourist park and have been here several times.
Just a couple of things, dolphin cabin says it comes with Electric Blanket, which it doesn’t but it’s ok they provided warm blankets.
And the DVD player didn’t work so I couldn’t watch movies and Wifi wouldn’t connect. Aside from those little things this place is fantastic and everything is in walking distance. Aircon-Heating worked super well.

We had a powered site near beach which was lovely.good amenities nice and clean and homely. Thankyou guys.
Loved Pt Broughton.great people and the pub was amazing our meals were superb restaurant quality ️ we didn’t get to meet George the ghost but were told he’s very friendly lol x

Nice caravan park with friendly and hospitable staff. It's absolute beachfront with no roads to cross, and a short walk to the town center. The new facilities were really good, the waterpark was repetitive but entertaining, and the mini golf course was also a standout, especially the clubs and balls being free to use rather than having to pay for each round. It was a hot day on arrival, and our site had no shade, but they let us move to one that was shaded without extra charge, which was pretty good. Camp kitchen had everything we needed too. It was a little pricey ($86 for 2 nights in a powered site midweek, non-peak period), and higher waterslides and free games would've pushed this rating to 5 stars, but the experience was good, and there has been significant improvement since my last visit back in 2016.

I stayed in a beach veiw cabin and it was amazing! But the only this was the bathroom was all old and kind of rusty the top bunk beds roof was all dusty. But overall I had a great time.

We stayed 4 days, reason for 2 stars plenty to do to stay at park. But would have been 5 if camp kitchen was mopped daily hadn't been cleaned floor in weeks I'm a cleaner I know. Cleaners and staff hooning around on carts swearing abusing power and guests. No help after 8pm with loud guests so people partying all night or rudely walking around load talking at early hours of morning. Simple little things need fixing every where. Fix pipe covers near bounce matt, little one fell Down whole. Cracked tiles in entrance handicap tripped and fell. Couldn't open one door on camp kitchen big no no, other door so hard couldn't open alone I'm disabled. Toilets cleaned no signals up told for f off by staff is not appropriate. Time to retrain staff

Great family park. We will becoming back kids ages 3 and 10 but there is something for everyone to enjoy, water slide, mini golf, pool, skate park jumping pillow go carts right on the beach front.

This place is amazing, facilities were really good and plenty of stuff for the kids to do, we did not see them for 4 days! We used one of their ensuite sites and it was fantastic, nice, new and clean. We will be back

Relaxing, quiet Park with plenty of activities to keep kids amused.
Great for people who enjoy fishing and crabbing.

Nice and clean friendly staff and service the park was the best kept park that I ever stayed in job well done to all the staff and people that kept this park so clean i will stay here again for shore and will tell all my friends about this park

Absolutely loved it the place has a really homely atmosphere about it the cabins are fantastic to stay in the owners and staff are just alround lovely and down to earth people
The park has it own water park and slides, mini put put course, bike-scooter-skateboard track swimming pool and jumping airbag
Barbeques, pizza ovens, camp kitchen and a lot more great place to stay and plenty entertainment for the kids and adults alike we had a fantastic time
We woke up to have the owners cat Parker greet us on the porch everyday so awesome definitely a high recommendation to put on the list to do

We had a lovely stay, so picturesce & peaceful, such a beautiful place in SA to stay in full marks

Great park to stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely town, great beaches. We will be back.

The amenities were clean and grounds were well looked after the only downside was that the mossies were bad i can't remember them having been that bad

Very nice caravan park. Young girl in office was polite & friendly, justs need's to read up on what is in the area. No complaints though.

Great stopover or short holiday destination. Vans sites are very spacious and it is evident that various park upgrades are under way

A very nice place to stay. Good areas for kids, good facilities and friendly staff.

The sites are huge in comparison to other parks and its proximity to the town is perfect.

I can't fault this park.

Great place for families now they have the waterpark and mini golf. Need grass though around the caravans. Everytime we come there we get bitten by mozzie

This park has so many different types of sites to choose from, we have an ensuite Van site, they even have a dog friendly cabin has a fence around it.

Stopped for a quick coffee and was served by a delightful young man who was polite and friendly
