Pizza Meccanica reviews
68Some of the best pizza in Adelaide and an overall great experience. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fun night with delicious food!
The best pizza that I've tasted for a very long time service was great food was excellent great place to go and eat good mothers day
Absolutely the most amazing service I have received in a long time! Marianna was amazing and had attention to every detail in her service. The food was also generous and delicious! This place is such a vibe- best tunes and Rosso spritz also Can’t wait to come back again soon! Thank you for a great afternoon x
Just perfect.everything you need for an amazing evening. Amazing pizza, great atmosphere and very friendly staff.
We'd not visited since last year's Fringe at Holden Street Theatres and were keen to eat after an early show. Warm welcome by our front-of-house fave and excellent service throughout our dinner. Wonderful pizza with generous toppings with a kale salad!
We had a lovely dinner at PM and managed to finish two pizzas and a serve of eggplant between the two of us. We were full but couldn’t stop eating because the food was so good. They absolutely nail the Margherita pizza - delish
Best pizza in Adelaide. Wood fired oven and traditional Neapolitan pizza. Customer service also amazing!
After travelling to napoli and eating pizza at sorbilo I thought I would never have pizza like this again, today I found it. The pizza is amazing the dough is light and the toppings are phenomenal unreal pizz experience I'm so proud to have it in my home town well done guys can't wait to come back.
Great service and pizzas are made very well. There was nothing bad with the food we ordered, all very tasty.
Am visiting from overseas and just overwhelmed in general by pizza prices in Australia (not related just to this place. Paying $26 for a Margherita pizza is extremely expensive. This seems to be the standard pricing in Australia.
Best pizza in Adelaide easily. Traditional Napoli style. The staff are so nice as well. I go almost once a week! Love it. A must visit for anyone who likes pizza (who doesn't?)
Amazing service and friendly cheerful staff! The pizza base is thin but that's what you'd expect from a gourmet pizza. They more than make up for it in flavour. My favourite is the funghi pizza.
One of the best pizza places in Adelaide, my husband is a massive pizza connoisseur (makes his own authentic dough at home), so when he raves about a place I know it's something special. The staff are absolutely brilliant, passionate and clearly love their workplace. Beautiful, authentic, simple, quality Italian pizza dough with gorgeous fresh topping options, great drinks menu and dessert/gelati. Love the decor too ️
Possibly the most authentic Neopolitan pizza in Adelaide. Beautiful food and the staff are lovely.
Stars r for the friendly staff.
First time the pizzas were alright. Margherita n prawns ones
Second time, soggy. Zero crisp. And were regretting why we were paying for wet pizzas.
Tad expensive as well but u would expect that from the decor n establishment like this one.
Dinner at @pizzameccanica: delicious food! Sometimes you just want tasty pizzas. The menu isn't big, but they are all quality dishes.
.
Pizza special of the day: can't remember exactly what it was - think it was nduja, fennel, pork sausage. The crust was not heavy, the toppings were excellent, and was not too greasy either. All in all, it was pretty good!
.
Baked parmigiana: fried eggplant, Italian herbs, San Marzano sugo, scamorza, parmesan, fresh basil, served with warm rustic sourdough. Super tasty dish! Loved dipping the sourdough into the eggplant.
.
Homemade gelato: they were pretty good! Maybe not as good as Bottega, but very delicious nevertheless. The pistachio flavour was very bold, and was like eating actual pistachios!
Most horrible pizza ever, you can't even pick it up, everything slides off, it's so thin you have to use knife and fork.its like it's charred on the edges.plus the most expensive I have ever come across.not a good experience.wont be back, oh and we all ended up on the toilet after.
Possibly the best pizza experience ive had.pizza meccanica isnt only a great atmosphere with great service, the taste of their pizzas bring my tastebuds into italy itself.i went here on a date with my partner and we got the margherita and funghi pizzas with the provolone.absolutely amazing and will always come here again, very filling too.
The pizza place is actually very nice but the pizzas were very disappointing with a very soft and chewy pizza dough and the overall quality ingredients looked very cheap.
We've been also asked for the first time in Adelaide an extra 1.5% extra to pay in case of card payment.
The staff was very nice and friendly the two stars are for them.
The pizza here is really tasty and is an excellent representation of Neapolitano pizza, the vibe in the restaurant is also fantastic. I have now been twice, the first time our pizza crust and base were perfect, the crust was fluffy and the base floppy but still holding its structural integrity. The most recent time the base was soggy on both of the pizzas bought. I will definitely still be going back, however I hope that in future visits the pizza base is more consistent with my first visit.
We had a great experience at Pizza Meccanica.
Staff were friendly and enthusiastic.
Pizza was delicious.
The decoration of the whole shop is like a garage, and there is a shiny red Chevrolet parked inside.
May need to book in advance as they only open from Thursday to Sunday.
