Pizza Meccanica

Funghi pizza was extremely soggy and was literally dripping with liquid from the swiss mushrooms, all the toppings would slide off - was so disappointed: (Really wanted this place to be good to recommend to friends, unfortunately will not be back. For some reason the pizzas are also very very salty. Gelato was also smaller serving, our usual spots cost the same price ($6.50) but we get way more in 1 scoop.

Friendly staff, amazing food and a great venue with aesthetic lighting and on theme decoration.good music too.

Lovely restaurant with fantastic food! Really enjoyed the pizza, garlic bread, and sweet potato fries!
Only criticism would be that it's extremely loud, bit a good vibe!

Prosciutto pizza with buffalo mozzarella ball - best pizza in Adelaide. Always a consistent dough/base, also exceptional. Toppings are always of high quality. Have been getting pizza from here for over a year, have tried other places but this is a stand out.

Amazing Pizza! We did the pizza dough making class and it was such great fun but Stelio is also so knowledgeable. A must!

We ordered takeout and tried their 04- Funghi and 03- Prosciutto. My partner had the Prosciutto pizza. It was a delightful combo of flavours and the crust was perfect. I had a slightly different experience with the Funghi pizza. I found the swiss mushrooms to be excessively salty and the pizza was very oily. It had a good garlic taste but due to the oiliness and the saltiness, it was hard for me to fully enjoy the pizza. We will still come back and try different pizzas.

Hands down the best pizza we have ever had! This is your typical traditional Italian pizzeria, they make pizza, just like they do in Italy… The way pizza should be!

Fantastic pizza. Meccanica sauce took me back to my childhood. I’d buy a bottle of that. Chilli oil offered, nice touch. Definitely going back.

Best pizza in Adelaide hands down. The service is great and staff is very friendly. Their gluten-free pizza is also the best in Adelaide. They have limited hours and days but they can do it because it's so good. The hazelnut gelato is also very good. If you want a great pizza, definitely go here and get the salame

Great hidden gem. Fabulous service, great atmosphere and to die for pizza. The pizza was traditional napoli style. Not soggy or acidic. The sauce was Moorish. As a family we suffer from acid reflux and this pizza did not give us any at all. They also have a cabbage salad which hits all those taste bugs with every mouthful. My favourite dish was the woodfired feta topped with garlic. (AMAZING) 5 stars all the way. Give them a go.

Went here for a family event and we all enjoyed it very much.

Unique location. Parking was ok.
Customer service was good.
The restaurant theme is very cool.
Setup and layout is different and nice to experience. Spacious and up to standard cleanliness.
Food was better than average in my opinion. It definitely does what it is meant to do.
Cannot fault anything.

Would return and recommend to others. Definitely worth trying.

Pizza Meccanica is only open four nights a week so you need to book. It is a fantastic suburban neighbourhood restaurant. The owner has managed to combine his passion of cars and pizza into a very cool venue. Staff are friendly and will happily explain the menu. The food comes out promptly and is really good.

Pizza was what you expect for wood oven fire pizza. Very flavoursome and tasty.

Couple problems;
1. The music was urban and pretty decent. However very loud so it was impossible to have a discussion with the Table. We asked the waiter to turn it down just a tad however refused and stated that it didn’t go down (odd thing that it can’t be turned down) even though when it was one of the tables birthday they magically could turn the music down. Gud 1 dud

2. Parking fits maximum 9 cars when inside fits 50* people. Assuming every car is a 5 seater. 9x5=45. A full house means cars are parking in front of other people houses.

Other than that, good and service was decent

Ayy. Ya pizzas are great. Dine in? Fagetaboutit! Service is like eatin at my nonnas house. The only difference is, they charge like my uncle in a numbers game - Santa Maria Zobenigo! Oh my Gahd. My issue is with tha take away. Every pizzaola I got is wet in the middle. Feel like I've got a gondola from the canals of Venizia driftin down my yap. Ya hear? ! Gotta say, Nicole's zitti from queens sounds pretty good in comparison, ya know? !

Went for dinner the other right. Such an amazing vibe. Loved the mechanic theme. The pizza's were so good we had to ordered 2. The staff were also very professional and accommodating and made you feel like you were old friends. Booking again to go there real soon.
