Pine Country Caravan Park Mt Gambier reviews
58 Glamping review - Tent is everything we expected, clean, all as promised including fire pit and wood supply. The only complaint would be; there needs to be toilets and/or showers closer for glampers and the wifi does not reach these tents.
Otherwise park is well maintained, amenities are tidy and location is perfect. Out of town enough that its' quiet but not miles for all you could need.
It's a very beautiful and clean caravan park with good facilities, only negative l can think of is hope they can put few cups, plates and cutleries in the kitchen.
Booked a dog cabin for a 3 night stay. Fabulous setup, a room had bunks in it and the bottom bunk was made up for the dogs. A really good sized enclosed yard for them too. Will be going there again for sure.
The park has great facilities, the area is clean and tidy plus staff is friendly and well looked after! The price is cheap and affordable! You can see galaxy in the night from park!
We really enjoyed our recent stays at Pine Country Caravan Park.
It's very clean and well maintained, and has all the amenities you need.
Great playground.
Drive-through sites with heaps of space.
Nice views.
Glamping!
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Bonus: it's only a 90 minute walk to the Blue Lake, all the way around, and back again.
Had a great time here about a month ago. People that run the place are very friendly and accommodated us and our day very well! Thank you, definitely recommend for low cost accommodation to explore Mount Gambier.
The park is clean and tidy. The staff were friendly.
Our cabin was cosy and warm and very clean.
The park is situated close to the town. We enjoyed our stay,
It is ok.
Cabin has enough room and air con is quiet, once you move the tv.
Wi-Fi is fine until the bytes run out. After that needed to move outside to get reception.
Kitchen is sparsely equipped.
Edit:
Pine Country is still the best caravan park for the money around Mount Gambier if you like quiet places, still close to town and to the attractions.
My partner did not have issues with the mobile reception.
We stayed in the glamping tents and had a great time. It was a cold & wet weekend but inside the tents was perfectly dry and very warm with the electric blanket.
The facilities were nice and clean and basically everything you need was provided (glasses, plates etc.towels, bbq, campfire and wood, extra blankets, torch)
Plenty of room in between cabins. Had to move TV to put AC on. Loved the electric blanket for the cold nights. Table and chair outside cabins. Easy parking.
What an amazing caravan park this is. The staff were super friendly and also so helpful. Ashamed to admit that I couldn't get the camp fire started. But the helpful guy who worked there was more then happy to help, and even got us more kindling to get the fire going!
Loved the place, grassy level sites, great camp kitchen with 3 BBQs, friendly owners, only 2 minutes from the lakes, quiet at night
Very disappointed with staff and services
The guy from staff called himself boss he is ridiculous talking sense,
He came to my tent full drunk and touched my stuff without asking,
No privacy in this park
Not safe even
Unpowered area is not safe as the staff has no sense of privacy and respect for customers,
Very very disappointed
Beautiful, well thought out and bespoke campsite. Extremely clean facilities with flowers in the bathrooms! Friendly host who came to say hi and made us very welcome. Will definitely recommend to friends.
Bloody brilliant caravan park, absolutely loved it here. They are so accommodating, owner works so hard doesn't stop with making this place great to stay. We stayed an extra 2 nights we loved it that much. Definitely be coming back here
Clean and tidy, everything worked, comfy bed and courteous staff.
Great quiet place to stay and close to pretty much everything.
The longest drive to attractions we saw was about 20 minutes.
Green and pretty. Close enough to be in Mt Gambier and far enough out that you feel more like a country farm stay.
Also near an amazing icecreamry.
Great services and reasonably big space. Have some BBQ stand and indoor kitchen with fridge and toasters, etc. Dogs friendly! We’ve met some lovely dogs (on leash). We’ve seen a pizza car on the first night but didn’t have a chance to catch it on the second day. Better buy it straightaway when you see it!
