Phonatic Restaurant reviews
73This is a hidden gem with gorgeous food and atmosphere. Must try the Laksa! If you are booking on the same day as dining, I recommend ringing ahead instead of booking online. Amazing!
Food getting much more disappointing now. 27 for xl spicy beef noodle and only get extra large for the soup and minimum veggie
My family and I had an awesome experience. The servings were generous (we ordered the meat platter and a big bowl of rice), price was reasonable and the staff members were friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely be back!
I loved my melt-in-the-mouth prawn dumplings and the best seafood laksa I’ve ever had!
Delicious authentic Vietnamese food, spectacular service and a vibing atmosphere. I’ll be coming back to try lots more.
Fantastic Vietnamese in Adelaide, reminded us of food in Vietnam. Friendly staff, 90s hits, brought back memories. Highly recommended.
A very good place to eat. Not just for Pho lovers but for any food lover. The staff were very friendly. Great place for students, couples and families.
Is there anything more civilised than two sizes of pho. No, I tell you! Food was delicious all the while feeling healthy! The stir fry was piping hot. Pho broth was spot on.
They brought the entrees and the main dishes at the same time. Unfortunately, we had difficulty in eating, the tables were very small. The music was not suitable for the environment at all.the decorations were so dusty it bothered me. Meals were average.
Unique ambience, wall paintings with story of family arriving in Australia. Filled with character
Food was delicious and service was great, little table we sat at was a bit tight tho and I’m by no means a big guy.
Whoever you are you made our day =3. Extra good service coming back. This hieu tieu is to die for: D
Placed an order on uber and was given a chocolate and a cute message. The food was amazing as always. I hope you guys have a lovely Christmas as well ️️
Hi tieu broth is very sweet didn’t get half glass half egg noodle I asked for.
Though it’s my fault for not realising it’s westernised vietnamese food.
Foods not bad though just don’t Come here expecting Vietnamese food
$18.90 for a large Pho.
A bit pricey. Especially for the tiny portion. Tight with the sprout and pho serving. Quality of the pho was nice.
They don't have pho bo. Only viet restaurant I've been to who don't have it.
Asked the lady if they had "Pho Bo", she had no idea what a Pho bo was.
Didn't offer me my change (paid in cash), was only a small amount in change but it's about principal.
Won't be going back.
However music/atmosphere and overall cleanliness of the establishment is Good.
This restaurant was ok, it east the best iv had but also not the worst, my soup was mainly full of noodles. Chicken satay was nice
Food has gone downhill in the last 2 years. The portions are smaller and the quality is poor. The ambience was ruined by a door that slammed loudly with every patron who ended. Won't be going back.
Needed a cheap and quick meal and it definitely sufficed. Had the spicy lemongrass chicken breadroll/banh mi which was great, especially the bread and how the chicken was done. It wasn't cut in half all the way through but thankfully it wasn't a issue cause of my large hands.
The best vegan pho I have ever had in my whole life! And I tried so many different ones in Melbourne! This is THE BEST!
Food was OK, just small portions. We were too lazy to go to our typical Vietnamese places to have Pho so went here for something different but left hungry. The Pho's were too small - well smaller than what we're usually used to. The chairs/tables were also uncomfortable. The padding on our chairs were loose (i think they were meant to be screwed in) but they kept sliding off and the actual chairs themselves were bolted to the ground so we couldn't move them. Wanted to shuffle over a little from my friend but it was impossible. If you're ordering a number of items there's just not enough room on the tables it got quite frustrating. On the plus side, good ambience and the location was also on the better side of Hindley st so it wasn't an issue.
