Pho SA reviews
40 This store is quite big so if you have a big group it's great to visit here. This place is fairly quiet compared to other stores.
Service was excellent and the pho was served really quick, other foods usually take a little more time but it's worth the wait.
Food is really good and flavourful, they have condiments on the side, so you can add those if you are finding it a little off balance for your palate.
Everything was good overall and we enjoyed it.
Went here for a quick lunch ordered rice meal, one is roast pork abd and the other was crispy chicken meal. It surely was heavenly. Service was also quick and efficient. 5/5.
Absolutely loved the beef pho and Vietnamese Sweet and Sour Pork. The staff were very courteous and friendly, and was great value. Will definitely eat here again when I am next in Adelaide
Busy place I sit down and hand up a few minutes but no one come up. Food is good but size a bit small.
My wife and I have been regulars here for quite a few years now. Good quality food, friendly staff (who actually remember you), great value and plenty of variety. Probably one of the best casual eateries in the CBD for value. Never been disappointed.
Friendly smiling considerate staff, quick service. Food was nice but there is room for improvement.
Pho SA is my second best Vietnamese restaurant in Adelaide. Pho tastes as the authentic pho. The menu was an excellent choice of Vietnamese food.
Recommend.
Had great review online, went today and had combination rice, no flavour what so ever!
Ran out of plain rice, gave me fried rice instead, felt like eating bowl of rice covered in yellow cooking oil with peas, carrot, and corn! The egg, sorry we don't fry the egg but we microwave the egg instead!
The pork chop, no flavour, egg pie, tasteless, the dipping sauce, very light flavour!
The only thing that was good was the soup!
The price is not that cheap, should of had KFC if I wanted an oily meal, very disappointed!
Viet food, best place is in Cabramatta in Sydney!
Recommend! Combination pho and beef&vegi wok are awesome. Kind staffs with good manner, fast served foods, definitely will visit again.
Reasonably priced, tasty pho. Proper spicy if you asked them to kick up the spiciness so be careful what you ask for.
Excellent fresh food, very modest prices, hidden away from main foot traffic areas but perfect for city lunch
My partner and I had dinner here and it was lovely, food is delicious and quick, customer service is great. Will definitely go again.
Ordered a small bowl Pho (beef noodle soup), Soup is nice. $12.50. Over-priced. Small appetite like me hardly full. Grilled quail is also mini size wondering where can they find. The thick smokey cooking haze not very pleasant. If you pay card have to pay 20c surcharge. Probably not going again.
Went here with my Brazilian Jin Jitsu squad twice now. They love it and I love it. Even introduced our coach's master to the place. Pho was dope, finished it so fast wished there was more. FYI, Combo rice is regular rice not broken rice.
Ordered a large bowl Pho brisket (beef noodle soup), $13.50. Over-priced. Not that big to me if comparing to most Vietnamese restaurants around the world. Guess more soup than the bites. Didn’t feel full like how I would usually be for a large bowl of Pho Bo. I find the soup kinda salty, not tasty broth overall. Service was fine and fast. Was there around 6.45pm, no issue with getting a table. In fact many tables were available.
Very very very bad experience in SA.
Firstly time, I ordered the large pho and received small size, and credit card surcharge without any notice. Second time, waited 40 minutes and got nothing, told us they had forgot our order! Never come back, worst service in SA
Fantastic food fresh and tasty and really their prices were so good. So busy on sat night but staff were efficient and very friendly. Will be back and would highly recommend it
Pho is consistently great but have to say that the last few times I’ve been there, there has been a thick smokey cooking haze throughout the eating area and you go out smelling of cooking smells which is not nice. I want to eat the food, not smell like it for the rest of the day. They need to get exhaust fans working properly in the kitchen.
Comes across as an unassuming place.
I had some beef noodle soup. The food was great.
Arrived near closing time and were still accommodated by very friendly staff. Fast service, had entree steamed dim sims and satay sticks, then shared a combination noodle stir fry. Great authentic taste, will be back to try the Phó. Recommended to try and central to the city
