Pho SA reviews
40 Can get quite busy at lunch time.
Food was nice, had the salt & pepper tofu and the rice noodles with veggies.
The tofu was delicious, the rice noodles and veggies were alright, but it would have been nice to choose a sauce with it.
Service was table service, super quick and effective and they do split bills.
I recommend for somewhere casual for lunch.
Pho SA is a great place to get authentic Vietnamese food in Adelaide. It has a variety of menu items to choose from, including beef noodle soup, chicken soup, and spicy beef noodle soup.
I would definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the area.
They served me a small pho and tried to charge me for a large. The broth hardly had flavour and way too much salt + msg. Not even a palmful of meat, 3 tiny slices. Total rip off, poor quality pho and scammers. Don’t come here.
One of the best phos I've had. The spicy beef noodle and the tofu and vegetable pho was excellent. We went there at night and the lady who served us was very kind. And the price is so cheap for the quality. Definitely recommend.
Delicious food, relaxed atmosphere. Wide range of options to eat and drink. My wife enjoyed her Pho, I had the Combination Hokkien noodles that was extremely tasty and filling. Definitely recommend. Well priced too.
Food is decent but not the best for Vietnamese cuisine. The pricing and portion sizes are fairly reasonable. In terms of service, it is very much a family run business which has its built-in pros and cons. Not a bad lunch option.
Delicious Pho, reasonable price, good location. Must try! I’m very picky eater but this is so far the best pho in Adelaide
Delicious Pho. The waiter was very helpful. Viet iced coffees were awesome as well, just had to wait for the coffee to filter.
The worst chicken laksa I've ever experienced! Taste like salty water with a touch of chilli $15 for a serve that wouldn't even touch the sides, nothing but noodles and salt water.as a very experienced soup and broth consumer, this laksa was not made with a base broth, there is no layer of depth to taste. I would describe the taste as a homebrand cuppa soup, not being mean! Just honest. I do not like Asian restaurants, skipping cost and time for the dollar and believing because they are in the city that non Asian people won't notice! I found only 3 bits of chicken and it did not taste fresh.please see what else, other than salty water I got for $15 bellow, absolutely noodles and 3 pieces of chicken that I can find! Don't waste your money here! Never ever again!
Further more, I now have a stomach ache! Been half hour after the soup, too coincidental. I am being honest!
Mediocre pho, mediocre service, mediocre value for money. Debated leaving two stars, but it wasn't quite that bad.
The best tasting pho in Adelaide. The stock and toppings are the closest thing to what I eat at home - no need to add lemon or hoisin. Good balance of spices. Quick service, a little pricey for the serving size but I'd rather a bowl of this than a big bowl of unpalatable pho. I wish it came with sawtooth coriander and Thai Basil and it would have been perfect.
Edit: went again but pho stock was a little sweeter this time. It's a subtle difference but can definitely tell they added more sugar to the stock in this batch.
Was looking for some Vietnamese food for dinner with my mum and this was an absolute gem, very authentic. The 'wrap your own cold rolls' is incredible value and the pho had quite a tasty stock, excited to come and dine here again:)
Okay stingy serve and the staff was bit rude. I was looking for cashier but he treated me like a thief besides he couldn’t count (I ordered a meal and a drink) or purely dishonest. Staff mixed up order and sauce bottles malfunction.
Fantastic restaurant, the Bahn mi is to die for, I try to go on my work break or after work anytime I can, I can't wait to try the rest of the menu, the staff are friendly and so fast, 10/10 from me
Best rice noodle pho.
Original Soup tasty and very fresh meat quality and fitted cook skill.
Amazing services of staffs and owner.
They must get 7star awards
I've been here quite a few times and it never disappoints. TBH I always have the Pho and sometimes an entree, so I can't comment on other dishes.
Ordered the pho combination on a cold evening. The flavour of the soup was nicely balanced (not too salty or sweet like some phos) and i loved the dried noodles used in their pho as i am not a fan of fresh noodles. Highly recommended to anyone who needs a pho fix in the city.
Very delicious pho with a good price, nice staff and spacious dinning area. I really enjoyed the food and I definitely state that it is the best pho in Adelaide. Thanks for the delicious food.
Visiting Adelaide and came across Pho SA on our journey. The staff were amazing, the food was fantastic and the servings very generous. Highly recommend!
