Petsland

In June 2018 we purchased a puppy from Petsland. It was advertised as a maltese x shitzu. We signed a health agreement as per below. At the time they explained thoroughly to us that they could not guarantee whether she was more maltese or shitzu, we were not concerned. However as the puppy grew it became obvious that she had pomeranian/chihuahua traits. A trainer at dog obedience confirmed our suspicion. A vet also agreed. We returned to Petsland to voice our concerns as we thought that maybe the owner Donna had been duped by the breeder. Her solution was to offer us a full refund when we returned the dog. She knew that this was a false offer, as who would return a dog that they had bonded with. She pointed to the health guarantee which virtually gives them the right to sell any dog without being able to confirm its history or parentage. We asked for some financial retribution as we believed $2300 for a bitsa dog was ridiculous as evidenced by the ad below. We did not get what we paid for. Her answer to us was that they were not concerned as their primary business was not selling puppies.

So BUYER BEWARE, because any business owner that does not pride themselves on customer satisfaction especially when they know they are in the wrong is somebody you don't want to give your hard earned dollars to, regardless of how big or small the transaction is.

Moly is my theorphy dog I'm so blessed to have a wonderful lady friend who shares moly with cause I can't afford a pet, thank god they I love moly and moly love me to we have so much fun together he especially love the beach I tier him out slot for a 15year old dog he, s funny loves running fast, and people he, s a human dog when I'm not well he, s there and cheers me up. I love painting his nails too and put on bandaners but most of all he heals a broken and today is one of them days bless moly my mate

Great little pet shop. The puppy enclosures are magnificent and the staff are extremely discerning who buys their puppies. Great range of dog toys, and reptile accessories.
We were there only recently and they had kittens for adoption and greyhounds for GAP SA. So good to see a pet shop support such great organisations.
