Petsland reviews
26Donna the manager and her daughter Joe are really great people to deal with and also the other workers that worked their too very helpful from Sharon
Very nice store. Good range of products for everything that barks, purrs, squawks, slithers or swims. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Family run business,
Good prices,
Knowledgeable staff.
Genuinely care for animals.
Great staff, very knowledgeable. Excellent service and assistance with exactly what we needed. Received all the information needed for now and a follow up. Thanks.
Very good place, that's where l got my bird a conure she/ he is so beautiful, thank you very much?
Attended the pet shop today and was very disappointed. They had a bearded dragons he looked to be hatchlings in a tank that was less than 2ft x 4 ft‘ high and using a red light. When Advising the staff that they were using the incorrect globes and advising that Beardies can actually have damaged eyesight by red infra rays, they said ‘Oh there is speculation about it’ however we know by fact that bearded dragons cannot have red light as it will damage their eyesight. There were also close to 30 birds in one tank with a sign on paper that had written cleaning in progress when it was imminent that they had not commenced cleaning. There were also two cats who were in a cage and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in two weeks there was litter everywhere and the cats did not look in good condition. There was also a brown coastal carpet python hatchling who had a stuck shed on the end of his tail which look like it was about to drop off. Highly disappointed I would not recommend anyone buy any animals from this place.
Staff very friendly and helpful
Staff proud of their business and care if pets also good helpful advice
Petsland is always good value, just interacting with the animals or birds makes you feel better.
A wonderful small family business that really try to meet customers needs and bend over backwards to help satisfy the huge clientele they support sourcing an array of products to bring the best to their customers.
Great place, great people
Keep up the good work.
Bought fish form this shop June long weekend all died within 10 days. Spoke to staff there 3 times over the 10 days, first question they asked do the fish have spots & perhaps I should get the water tested. I was at work when I rang and couldn’t recall if they did. The next day I took water sample in and picture of fish that were left (they both died that afternoon). They told me the fish were sick with White spot Disease. They had the same thing about 2 weeks ago. I queried this because it would have been around the same time I purchased my fish - The staff member at the store said she would pass on my details to the manager. I believe she was the person I originally spoke to the first time and she said she would replace some of the fish. Any ways 2 weeks on and no phone call.
As nice and reassuring they were when I spoke to them originally doesn’t make up for the rudeness and lack of responsibility after the fact
Very disappointing
Being a smaller pet store they can't match the prices of the big chains, but they are friendly and helpful.
The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the place is very clean with a great range of products
I come here multiple times a week and I’ve never experienced bad service. Brought 5 animals home from this family business and they’re all absolute gems. They answer all of my million and one questions, give me the best advice and are probably the most patient retail workers I’ve met. All of the staff are excellent at their jobs, and i definitely don’t see myself going to another pet store anytime soon.
Didn't dislike it but didn't think much of it either. I'm glad it's there. Hopefully my mind may be changed in the future.
Petsland at the port is excellent. They are really helpful, happy, and always ready and eager to talk about your pets and their needs. They also love to see photos of your animals too.
The reason is because it's a family owned business and the owners are fantastic in helping you in every way possible
The large snake in the corner has a burn on its nose, the tank is too small for it, it's water bowl is green and has flecks of rust in it, there isn't enough substrate in the tank and it has no area to hide from prying eyes.
Edit: Thankyou for your reply, I'm glad that you listen to reviews and try to fix issues.
Family business - mother & daughter duo.lovely people & great customer service. Highly recommended.
Everyone makes you feel most welcomed. Give you space to look as there is so much to look at. Interesting place. Staff happy to assist with advice if sought. Great place to support.
Cockatiels and green cheek conures at the front of the store look really stressed. Pulling out their own feathers with huge bald patches
