Penong Caravan Park reviews
66Very good service here friendly staff who care about your experience of their facilities. Clean and tidy, good pub grub within walking distance and loads to see in the vicinity.
Awesome place to stay very friendly owners and I left my phone charger there and with no hassles Jenny is sending it to WA for me. Highly recommend staying if you're near the area.
Mick and Jenny are very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend to stay here - the amenities are spotlessly clean and well equipped (washing machines, dryers, microwave, fridge and freezer, stove). Huge campsites sheltered from the wind. Only $25 unpowered for 2 people. Thanks for a very pleasant and relaxing stay, we will be back!
We booked in and found the park to be wonderfully clean, organised and the amenities perfectly clean.
A credit to Jenny and Mick.
Make the time to stay as they could use a bit more traffic.
Was passing through and wasn't planning to stay here originally. Called up at 9pm to try my luck and was very surprised to have phone picked up so quickly.
Owner is very polite and professional and the grounds and amenities are in excellent condition and not run down like alot of places you find out in the country.
Would definitely recommend to anyone.
We had an unexpected stay here while our van was being repaired on our dash back across to NSW after having to abandon our "big lap" during this horrible COVID pandemic. What a silver lining to an otherwise difficult time! The park is beautifully kept, clean and tidy and the owners Mick and Jenny could not do more for us. They made us feel completely welcome and at home.the park is very close to the general store, roadhouse and the pub. Penong itself is a small place but with everything you need to get by plus some beautiful beaches only minutes away. Thank you Mick and Jenny. We will be back for sure.
Very clean freindly / great meals at the pub freindly staff at road house over all clean freindly village
Excellent place to stay we checked in whilst the Eyre highway was closed and stayed for 5 nights in cabin 1 very clean and comfortable hands down the best we stayed in going in both directions highly recommended
This caravan park is outstandingly clean in all of its amenities. We were well refreshed from our overnite stay. Friendly hosts. Thanks. Regards, from the bloke with blue towel.
What is there not to like about this place. Very friendly & helpful owner, spotless grounds, toilets & showers. Thank you.
This is probably the cleanest caravan park I have ever stayed at in my whole life. We had a few nights here while waiting for a car to get fixed. We surprisingly had a great relaxing time in Penong. Really nice and friendly staff too.:)
Quiet restful spot. Older style but very acceptable. Water, while potable, needs to be used sparingly.
The most clean amenities in our 6 months of travel! Close to pub, good meals too. Hot showers, I only had a 3 minute shower, as they are on water restrictions. Would stay here again!
Very neat and well maintained. The owners are clearly investing in the amenities. Penong itself doesn't offer a lot other than the quirky windmills.
Great park to stay at with all the necessities. Power, laundry and hot showers. The toilet/shower block was spotless! Would highly recommend.
It's a basic caravan park but it has all you need power water toilets showers they're all drive through spaces so there's lots of lots of room and it's just a nice place and the staff member was very very friendly
Great caravan park nice little village tasty meal at pub the windmills are wonderful locals have done a terrific job of restoring part of Australia history
Very clean & modern amenities. All sites easy accessible $30 per night drive thru if needed, big rigs welcome
Lovely place. Clean facilities, tidy town, welcoming, friendly people and the windmills are really worth seeing. Would recommend this place.:)
Small well maintained caravan park. Great little town with great pub and interesting things to see such as the Windmills lovingly restored by local people, all within walking distance. Cheap fuel a bonus.
