68Excellent choice of burgers, very friendly staff and owners. Simply loved chatting with the old lady (should have asked for her name). Coffee was fantastic too. My son liked the schnitzel and my daughter enjoyed the chicken nuggets. My friend's son enjoyed the grocery store attached to it as he helped himself with some ice cream too:)
The staff very lovely and very helpful, definitely recommend a pop in for top up of groceries or a treat from the cafe.
A lovely country bakery. Three of us are. One had the hamburger and chips which was filling. The other two had chicken and gravy roll and chips which were large and filling. A good range of food to eat in.
There is also food you can buy as a takeaway but can not eat this at the tables inside.
Also a good range of product such as local honey and garlic salt to take home and eat or give away as presents.
Tried fish/chips/burgers, portion is big compared to other restaurants on KI and they are fresh and tasty. Location is just right for a lunch stop in the middle of the island. Hope to meet Jen again when we return. Very friendly owners.
What you'd expect from a country cafe, lovely people, reasonable stock of supermarket type essentials to get you by as well. Food is great as well, burgers and fresh rolls.
Great chicken schnitzel, friendly and professional service, great place for lunch and groceries.
The food was good!
Sandwich was amazing!
Super friendly service and great location
The best takeaway we have had for such a long time.
Definitely recommend it when you are in the area.
Their milkshakes should bring all the boys to their store.
Great food. Perfect after going exploring Flinders Chase.
We stopped for coffee in this small settlement that was only missing tumbleweed. The people in the cafe were pleasant and the service was also good. Sadly the coffee wasn't very good but so what - the friendliness was welcomed.
Great bakery, and one of the few places to eat once you're out towards the west of KI. Always welcoming.
Lovely friendly staff here. Substantial chicken and chips and a baguette, freshly filled with your choice. Contains a small supermarket and does takeaway. They serve a whole day menu, including breakfast items. A very handy stop after visiting KI wildlife park.
Nice friendly folks who want to make sure you're welcome and have a nice time on Kangaroo Island.you can get a whole roasted chicken here plus other takeaways in addition to a reasonable but not comprehensive choice of groceries.
This cafe deserves more than 5 stars. The service was amazing. Really lovely people. The food was great too. We are so glad we stopped in for some good old fashion service.
We were travelling with two families and have nothing but positive feedback.
The two ladies were very welcoming and the service was the best we have ever had.
Nothing was to much and they went out of their way to meet our needs.
Totally recommend to stop and try, you will not be disappointed.
Comfy place; good location, amenities, service and goodies; nice and tasty menu and fair prices.
A fabulous Bakery. Nothing is too much trouble for these lovely ladies. A well stocked little supermarket as well.
So glad we called in here.
Great! Lots of love and care into their coffees and hot chocolates. Came here with a group for lunch and we really enjoyed our time here. Staff are friendly and make you feel very welcome.
Bakery: As they're doing a bakery, cafe, groceries and tourist trinkets all in one, they don't have the biggest range of bakery treats. They have an indoor cafe though with a coffee machine and a large range of local and fresh (not stale or hard) cheesecake slices.
There ya go, 28 varieties of cake. And my slice of honey cheesecake was excellent btw. Just hard to compete with the likes of some of the other bakeries around when they are some of the best I've visited
