Palace Nova Prospect Cinemas reviews
60Very disappointed went to watch Prislla movie New Years Eve we were charged too much for 2 tickets and we were given horrible dry wine we should have a choice my friend an I only drink moscato not happy at all the movie was great
Favourite cinema in Adelaide
Nice and intimate, good cocktails and incredible popcorn
Went to this place on 2cnd of November, with a friend to see the taylor swift movie which was good, however was very disappointed with the customer service who looked to be Asian as when I was buying my ticket I asked for Peanut m&ms and a small frozen. During the movie I realised he gave me a large and charged me for it when it's not what I asked for and when I went back to get my money back he argued with me and was saying that I shouldn't have drunk it and that's why he shouldn't give me my money back in the end he gave my money back but customers are right and I'm very disappointed and disheartened to have had this bad interaction coming from this server.
Absolutely love the cinema as does my son. The atmosphere, the sound, the snacks and the smell of popcorn. Prospect Cinemas did not let us down, fantastic. Love that they have some parking available, makes the visit less stressful. Easy to negotiate directions, even as this was our first time here. Sorry I was so engrossed, I forgot to get some pics. Hopefully I remember next visit.
Lovely big seats and lots of leg room. The stairs in the cinemas can be a bit difficult for those with mobility issues. They do not have rails and the seats are very low so there is nothing to hold on to. Also they only have escalators going up but quite steep stairs to go down but at least to get around that difficulty there are lifts. Lovely spacious area to sit and have a drink before or after the movie.
Join up and get great discounts and offers. We always grab a ice cold drink in the summer or a coffee and cake in the winter. Super clean and very roomy comfortable seats
Relatively new complex of cinemas with comfy chairs and reasonable amenities. In the heart of Prospect with some interesting dining options on site.
Big comfy chairs, great quality visuals and sound, excellent food and drink options. Food is quite pricy (4 stars rather than 5)
First time at Palace Nova Prospect, staff very helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed my Palace Nova Prospect experience will definitely go back
We had dinner at Spargo's up the road.
There was an offer for a movie dinner deal.
It was a tidy and clean place.
The cinema was small, which was good so it wasn't overcrowded.
A good place to sit back and relax after you've had a meal in the area.
Thankyou to the Maras corporation for building such a lovely building and attracting such a fine establishment like Palace Nova to prospect. Lovely to see a movie within walking distance of my house
Very comfy and modern, but this cinema is a bit over priced compared with other cinemas, even with the loyalty program. Spent $28 on one drink, one pocorn, and 2 choc tops.
Complaints were, seat's were uncomfortable and the toilets upstairs were filthy! Give them a decent scrub!
Awesome service bite to eat and comfortable enjoyed our time, my grand daughter and I will go again when $ permit The best cinema in Adelaide in my opinion 10+/10
The Cinema is nice, friendly staff and spacious seating area to chill before the movie begins.
The downside is after each movie is finished - it would be great for the staff to go into the cinema and make sure seats are clean or check the room before they screened the next movie. This is because when my partner and I came to our seats it was very oily, messy and had popcorn around the seats. We both decided to go into the toilet to get some tissue, wet it with water then go back and clean our seats before we sat down. This is not the first time it happened. Also, If anyone likes hot chocolate please don’t get it here as it is very milky.
This place is hard to get around. Cinemas are small. Seats are not comfortable.
Staff are friendly and helpful
Great cinema to see your mainstream movies as well as alternative cinema on a big screen.
Not really the best for blockbuster action films.
You can get a glass of wine and the option to upsize your pour is great for those longer films (the epic)
Glad for the chance to go out.
On your everyday afternoon, I decided it would be fun to go have a cinematic experience at this particular establishment. However, once I arrived I was met with a very disheartening experience. It is with a heavy heart that I must say this, but a staff member from this institution didn't welcome me with kindness. Instead, me and my fellow movie goers were treated with disregard. It's unfortunate as I've visited this establishment before (a couple years ago) and had a pleasant experience. It's just heart shattering that I didn't get to kick back and enjoy a nice movie because of this experience. I deeply apologise and feel bad for your loss as I'm a pleasant individual to be around.
Great, helpful staff. Disability underground parking, entrance, seating and restroom. Stairs, escalator and lift to cinema.
Great coffee. Some food available.
First time at this cinema
Very impressed with the Candy Bar. I had a champagne!
In cinema 7 all on our own lovely comfy seats
Liked it all so much I am going again tomorrow! !
