I woke up in an average mood and thought I would stroll the streets of Mt Gambier to find an OK pie. I stumbled across the OK Pie Shop and thought I hit the jackpot. I left extremely disappointed. These pies are not simply 'OK' they are absolutely spectacular. The buttery crisp pastry filled with succulent meaty goodness was to die for. If you want an 'OK' pie, my mate Doug sells them off the back of his ute at local footy games. If you want a spectacular gourmet pie, go to the OK Pie Shop!

The food here is very nice. The service is also great.
Even when ordering in bulk, they do a good job

Best pasties and pies I have EVER eaten, not to mention the service. I'm going to make a special trip just for them. Happy eating.

Best cream buns, cheese tarts, cakes, pies, pasties etc etc in the Mount. Always a must visit when back in town.

Irresprctive of how nice the food may be, getting slugged with an under $10 eftpos fee of $1 left a bad taste in my mouth. What a distasteful way to close a sale, i feel as i have been ripped off and will not return. OK!

One of the best places in town to get great coffee, mouthwatering selection of pies, pasties, sausage rolls and the sweet section is irresistible, cosy and warm in winter, great place

About the only business in Mount Gambier that doesn't accept card. Food was very mediocre. Ordered a pizza pie and a chicken sandwich. The pie tasted like raw pasta sauce and the sandwich had around 3 pieces of chicken in it. Staff were also rude. Do not recommend.

Good food, the ned kelly pie (bacon, egg cheese, onion& meat) & kitchener bun is fantastic. They only accept cash, maybe they should look at accepting cards & moblie payments as well.

The staff are wonderful, warm & inviting. The coffee is great. The food to die for. Take a break from all the hustle and bustle & TREAT yourself. You won't regret it! Tell your friends & make a great date

Doesn't take card because they probably pay staff in cash. We bought 3 pies and mosy of them full of gravy.

Yum! Mmmmm! And more please! The chai lattes are lovely and the face cakes are amazing! Try a pastie too! You may have to visit more than once for these more than "okay" pies!

This place is amazing. Rightly in the upper echelons of tripadvisor recommendations. The pies and pastries are all made fresh on site and the coffee is pretty good too. The pièce de resistance is the sausage roll in both its deliciousness and price - 60¢! You have to see it to believe it.

Food was dreadful and coffee was scolding.

Ordered a quiche and a pastie. The egg in the quiche was watery, which detracted from the other ingredients and created an unpleasant texture. I couldn't stomach more than a couple bites. The pastie looked visually impressive from the outside, but the filling was bland and tasteless, akin to a supermarket frozen pastie. Also found a piece of a corn cob with no kernels attached within it, likewise couldn't tolerate a few bites.

After a visit several months ago and getting served scolding hot coffee, I actually advised on the temperature I preferred this time. Yet, again, got served a scolding coffee.

1/5 will not return or recommend.
