OK Pie Shop

So unfortunately in this instance, the name is an indicator of the food…yes, there were a decent assortment of pies on offer & yes, I was greeted by a friendly person more than happy to answer my questions. Also, I can’t fault the pastry on either of the 2 pies or the roll we got. Unfortunately the pies were just as the establishment…well…established! They were OK…we got a mushroom (mince & mushroom) & a cheese & bacon. Sadly they were eerily similar, I’d say 90% mince beef with only a sprinkle of mushroom & then cheese & bacon on top. So I’m reluctant to say but the pies were hi hum…therefore OK. Gladly the kransky roll was
Yum! Same buttery flaky pastry but there was a whole kransky inside & it had a relish surprise inside, which was far more evident than the mushrooms or the cheese & bacon on the pies

Quick service. Desserts and slices are nice and big, so worth the price! The pies are OK. The inside tastes very nice but it is the pastry that makes the pie ordinary. Floury taste pastry. Otherwise, nice place for a quick lunch.

Lovely family bakery shop. All staff very friendly to answer your questions and introduce items. Must try Cornish as special I never have before, which is mixed pork mince, potato and carrot inside. The staff suggested popular mini sausage roll was crispy and tasty. And the mushroom pie was strong mushroom taste with a lot beef mince. Large coffee with almond milk was nice hot. Highly recommended when stay at Mt Gambier.

Delicious pies and coffee. Has indoor and outdoor tables and chairs. Also has a sandwich bar looks nice and fresh.

The most amazing pastries and tarts! It's a mix of old-school baked goods made with a personal touch. Prices are great for the size, amount and quality. Very friendly staff too. Keep up the good work!

Honestly the pies from this place would have to be in my top 3 bakeries ever. My dad owns a bakery himself and I’ve been searching for a competitor for his cheese and bacon pies? OK Pie Shop you have exceeded expectations!

Also has a good selection of cakes, but for me the pies and pasties are the best

Fabulous range of savoury and sweet. Super friendly staff and highly recommend. We had pies and vanilla slice and a brandy snap. Delicious

1 of the Most horrible pies I have ever had was full of gristle threw over half away I bought 2 pies and partner bought a pasty. Threw 1 whole pie and half of another and the pasty in bin. Do not know why this place is not named the 'Not OK Pie Shop'!

Well know for their cheese tarts, jam donuts and pies and pasties. Grandchildren love the party size pies and sausage rolls.

Unfortunately every pie i buy from you has made me feel like i wasted money and half eaten food always everytime i come by this shop for a quick feed to relise its really not upto my standards to even bother purchasing anymore food from here i rather other places close by thats normally not so over board and eatable without it just being fully sauced up and hardly any meats within the food its very fascinating taking a gaulp and all i mainly recovered is sauces in your handmade products.
