27A great place to drop your watercraft into Westlakes. Toilets, change rooms, bins, a pontoon, and a playground are all nearby.
This park has been done up in recent times, and its awesome! The playground is perfect for toddlers and is a decent size too. There are plenty of places to sit, plus there are bbq's and bins for convenience. Its lovely by the water too, a very nice place to spend the afternoon!
We visited the playground. Has nice equipment and good variety. Three different slide sizes. Swing that even a toddler can safely go on. Pleasant experience. Also has good looking bbq areas although we weren't there for that. Toilets nearby. We tried to go for a walk along the river but it was a bit too windy. I imagine that's often a problem along the river.
Great spot for a family. Playground, bbq and picnic spots, a safe little beach area to frolic or cast a line.
This is a good place to launch a canoe or kayak for a paddle in West Lakes. Because the shore has been prepared for the launching of racing craft, there are sandbanks and a shallow sandy beach rather than concrete walls.
Adelaide's Rowing course at West Lakes. Also saltwater venue for state, national and world dragon boat championships
Stunning views and bbq facilities. The kids playground is good - apart from the fact it is so close to the main road and the lake! Could do with fences as it’s unsafe at present (IMHO).
