Oakbank Hotel reviews
49We had 400gm steak with eggs and tomatoes as well as lamb cutlets, couscous with greek salad. Absolutely awesome. Craig and Hayley very welcoming hosts and Greg fantastic chef. Great outdoors area for families. Would thoroughly recommend.
Toilets require updating. Clean, very small. Not suitable for disabled or aged. One of our elderly fell in the female amenities due to irregular flooring/steps.
Surprisingly busy for a Monday night on 26 June.
The 5 of us were all happy with our meals - the Quinoa Salad being the standout.
But the most outstanding feature was the one and only waitress - Lily. This amazing girl took orders, served drinks and food, cleared tables, delivered bills and took payment! All with efficiency, friendliness and good humour. She was so busy at times she was running to keep up her excellent service. She was doing the work of 3 people and we hope she was paid accordingly.
Thank you Lily for your outstanding service and for making our night so enjoyable.
Staff and atmosphere was great, food price vs quality just wasn't there for me, everyone else seemed to be enjoying there meal.
There for a wedding reception lunch. Very impressive meals and the service was first class!
Waitresses are the best and the place is a good country town pub. However, one of the owners/bosses Matt, has the worst customer service I have ever seen. That man needs to cheer up butter cup:)
Love the oakbank hotel. Always a good feed. Same faces working behind the bar. Good people. Clean and tidy and fast to serve you meals and beverages. Great place to visit!
Rude staff inedible food and the service was terrible. Clientele was overly intoxicated, rude made for and extremely uncomfortable experience even if the staff weren’t enough. Would highly recommend to everyone with any sense not to go to this sad excuse of a venue.
Good solid local pub, I know they do special nights and I've heard they are good value I am yet to attend one of those nights. But for a normal lunch it's definitely the best in town.
Walked in to get a table for lunch on a Sunday and immediately got turned away. Very rude front of house and did not even give us a chance to ask if they could fit us in. Very upset and hungry now.
Absolutely the best. Very pleasant welcome by all the staff and meals were perfect. We will be back. THANK YOU
What more could you want.
The staff was super efficient and friendly. The steaks were perfectly cooked, medium rare. The side vegetables were fresh, slightly crispy and flavoursome. And the local Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir went down a treat.
Child friendly, secure gardens and comfortable dining, although we were child free. Highly recommend to anyone looking for good pub grub!
Renown for its steaks, friendly staff and good parking a great place to visit. Just a return visit today 17/6/22 and a great eye fillet steak with a lovely Taylor's Jaraman can save, really good
Best Ribs in the Hills and the steak was cooked perfectly all day dining on the weekend I love this pub
Nicely cooked the way i asked for it
Well priced
Freindly staff, good atmosphere
Will be going back again
Went had dinner with Family on Wednesday-steak night. Hands down, the best steak I have had while dining out. 8 of us in total and the bill wasn't massive either. Great Pepper sauce and chips were great. No pictures sadly, too hungry and forgot to take some
Fantastic place for the parents to relax while watching over the kids in the garden area! The platters were the best finger food I've had and the staff were very hospitable
Just went out to lunch for mother's day and we had an absolutely faultless experience. The wagyu scotch was perfection for both of us - melt in your mouth, fantastic flavour and perfectly cooked. Delicious fish and chips were had too. Special mention to every member of staff we had the pleasure of speaking to - valuable advice and cheerful conversation, it really made our day. Lastly, still love the hanging plants!:)
