NOLA Craft Beer & Whiskey reviews
63Worst chicken ever, burnt and very salty. Pork belly had good flavor but I think the chef loves salt more than anything. Tater tots burnt and salty as well. Drinks were ok. I would not come back, even if it’s free.
Leaving 5 stars almost purely for the fried chicken. It blew my mind, the spicy fried chicken was the absolute best chicken I've had in ages. The rest was all good too, nice beer selection, but I cannot stress enough my delight at the chicken.
First time very nice food not over big but busy huge bar downstairs pricing not too bad creole style food American beers plenty cocktails to choose from
Ordered 3 cocktails, waited 35 mins and still no drinks. Advised the bar staff and they said they will start making them. After another 10 minutes no drinks. Requested a refund, rather unhappy with the service this time. Unfortunately we won’t be returning to the establishment as we gave the bar staff the opportunity to fix the mistake.
Highly recommended food and drinks at a supa friendly place. Rotating beers taps, unique spirits and delicious food. Perfect
Nearly no middle range whiskeys (under $20 a shot) and bar staff don’t pay much attention- ask for a 12yr they bring down an 18. Ask for a 10 they pour you a 22yr.
Also terrible advice in tasting- asked for a highland with no peat and they offered me a laphroaig and a lagavulin.
Such a great venue for drinks and nibbles until late. Excellent selection of tasty brews. Gets pretty busy.
Food and drinks are delivered in a high standard. Unfortunately, one of the waiters/bartender has got an attitude problem. I ordered a cocktail and when warned he was using the wrong spirit according to the menu, he refused to acknowledge, suggested that I was wrong and still gave me the cocktail the way he thought it should be. Later, when he brings the food, I sense some irony, probably because before I had asked him to check the menu for the cocktails specs, something he never did.
Went for dinner on a Friday with our daughter and the staff were so accommodating, they didn't have a high chair but went next door to another place to borrow one for us. Great experience and great food. Beer selection is also top notch! Must try in Adelaide.
First time going and was quite impressed. Cosy venue with a great feel. Awesome cocktails and range of beers and whisky. The pulled pork po-boy was delicious! Will definitely be back.
Have been to NOLA many times and it's always an amazing experience! Great staff, fab food, and amazing drinks.
Awesome food and drink selection. Knowledge and friendly staff serving craft beer and cocktails (I didn't try their whisky)
Be sure to catch a live blues set on a Thursday evening and try the fried chicken!
Good selection of beers.price point is slightly higher then usual pub.good if you are just wanting something a bit different
Good choice of beers. Nice chilled ambience on a weekend afternoon. Cocktail menu needed updating.
Nice bar however really bad service. Order was changed multiple times over 20 minutes by the cocktail barman due to lack of ingredients. Asked for an alternative whiskey to what was on the menu and was refused due to price.the bar lady was nice and did her best to apologise.
One of my favourite spots in Adelaide! Great choice of beer and whisky. Not to mention the best Fried Chicken in Adelaide.
NOLA is fantastic for beer, wine, whiskey a d fried chicken but when it's busy, getting to the bar can be an exercise in patience and determination.
Live jazz upstairs although I remained downstairs smashing the fairly priced beer from across Aust. Def no SA craft beer allegiance here but enjoyed trying some newies. Although avoid the sours unless your a fan.
Nice place to chill nice atmosphere - long wait for a drink staff serving was slow, beers a little pricey $10-12 each
