Namaste Nepalese Restaurant

Tried the takeaway meal special. Chicken was tough and way too chunky. Vege curry average. Chucked the leftovers away. Disappointing as we'd dined in before and it was great.

I had dinner with two friends and we really enjoyed our night out. We each chose an appetiser and main and shared the meal. My favourite appetiser was the tempura prawns - light and very tasty! We also had Sekewa and Samosa which were both excellent. The mains were all super tasty, the meats were tender and the flavours spot on. The staff were very friendly and helpful, offering suggestions and making changes to accommodate our tastes.

Honestly I expected good but this place is great. If you're looking for an honest, down to earth atmosphere and great food this place is fantastic. The staff are all incredibly friendly, and so easy to chat to.

We ordered take away, every curry we ordered was amazing, full of the chosen meat, full body sauce, great cheesy naan, light tasty dumplings and a vege curry. Great value, happy to order again

The space could do with a little update. But that’s the charm

I haven’t been here for many years but last night I was surprised how bad the food was, I ordered their signature dish as it was titled Lamb ribs which had very little lamb and mostly fat, no flavour and almost cold, the fried potato was completely cold and more surprising was the fact that we were the first and only ones in there just after opening. This was a really disappointing meal and had to leave and make my own dinner at home after as I couldn’t eat this.

Delicious food-the barramundi was amazing! The service was excellent and the staff were lovely and attentive.

Not sure why only 4 stars, need to order again to confirm 5 star status. Would order again

Very friendly staff and delicious variety of authentic Nepalese food! Their samosas, momos, butter chicken and Macha Tarkari is fingerlicking! Always a happy visit.

I wonder if we perhaps caught the chef on a bad night.
The reviews here seem to be overwhelmingly positive, but I found our dishes and experience to be very mediocre. The chili prawns were overly sweet. The curry prawns and butter chicken were bland. The prawns (about x6) in both prawn dishes were not fresh - most likely frozen, yet they are charging close to $30 for each dish.

The staff were competent but not very friendly. They added an item to our order, which we didn't ask for and there was no offer to remove it from the bill.

For the relatively high price you are paying, I would have expected at least a moderately tasty meal, but it fell short of even this for me: (

The foods were so good, we enjoyed the foods so much. The customer service was friendly.will definitely come back again with friends and families ️ Loved it

Dining restaurant, great foods and great service

The food was delicious with a wonderful selection of of both vegetarian and non vegetarian options, the staff were polite and courteous, and the service was quick and responsive. The atmosphere was overall very welcoming. The venue was accessible for people with disabilities to dine in, however not so much the bathroom. We were very happy with our choice of venue, and would gladly come back for another visit. Thank you for a truly lovely visit.

Had Momo which had different taste than we usually have and was delicious. Great hospitality Kajol and best of luck.

Went for dinner last night. The food didn’t have nepalese taste at all. I had goat curry which didn’t taste nepalese at all. It was a Indian goat curry which was nice but I wanted to have nepalese goat curry with nepalese taste. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant if you want to eat authentic nepalese food. Just a suggestion to the restaurant if you saying it’s nepalese restaurant may be start making food in nepalese favours.

One of the best in the Nepalese cuisine. Friendly staff, prompt and courteous. Great atmosphere in the rooms and on the side a fish pond with running water. The best butter chicken around.

Enjoyed the food. Service was not great. Never received the drinks we ordered, but they were on the bill at the end. Took them a long time to clear our plates after eating. I would go back, but would hope to have a better experience next time.

Last night I had dinner with some friends. Overpriced for the average taste foods, compared with the other Indian restaurants. I only ordered a lamb curry and rice (rice was given with the other people who ordered banquet in the table which I was surprised because I ordered separate with those people). I didn't order bread naan and ice cream and the waiter insisted me to pay for those foods. Gosh I didn't eat as much as that - even I didn't finish eat lamb curry. She didn't want to listen and think if that was the order from the other people and made me embarrassed as if I didn't want to pay my order so I paid all at the end to keep peace. The split bill didn't work food when I had to pay for the foods which I didn't order and I ended up paying the price more than banquet price. I'm not happy with the service and do not recommend this restaurant to the other people
