Morphettville Racecourse

Ordered a coffee during a company lunch (sit down, fancy affair) and had it presented in a disposable cup with unnecessary plastic lid - extremely disappointing.

Attended my first racing event in a function room here and it was very clean, the food was top-notch, the drinks were dirt cheap, and the staff were friendly. Easy to navigate around and lots of space for everyone to get involved. A grand place to host a function whether horse related or not.

Needs upgrade and more public space for those other than the members and well heeled.no coffee outlet near course

Attended the 1873 Restaurant at Morphetville Racecourse, for the 2021 Cox Plate Day, for the first time, in this area of the racecourse and had a wonderful day. The four course set menu and quality of food was enjoyed by us all. We had an amazing view, from our near window table, not just over the racecourse itself, but one of the best sweeping views of the Mt Lofty Rangers I have ever witnessed. Great facilities, helpful and friendly staff which all made for a great life experience and enjoyable day.

$30 entry fee for b grade racing. Food ran out at 3pm. No where to buy an icecream for the kids. Advertised a band after last race, but didnt see them. Could have been much better.

Committee of the Racecourse should visit Darwin Turf club to see how to cater for punters visiting the course.no choices of beers, food very ordinary and all very overpriced.

Covid definitely makes it tough to go out and maintain distancing but with that in mind on a cold day turning on heaters for non members would make them more comfortable. Bar service not terrible but plastic cups for drinks was a bit disappointing. $20 entry fee for an expensive cold afternoon isn't recommended

Usually enjoy my time at the race course, but not today. Can't understand when other race courses have everything in place regarding food, beverage and safety and our premier race course is so far out of wack its not funny. Need to look at this for patrons

Beautiful scenery from inside of the meeting rooms!
Good facility, clean toilets, clear windows, clean horse tracks.

It can be hit and miss, especially in Covid times. Long waits for food and choice can be limited. Atmosphere is great but thats about it. Sometimes they have live music during the bigger days and the horses are always a beautiful sight but yeah it's still a bit blah.

Caring polite staff, clearly demarcated areas. Clean and neat. Track in great condition. Excellent catering.

Best place to relax and socialise. The way they presented the Charlie Hoile Cup race was very well done. Function room was great.

Today Australia welcomed our new Australian Citizens who have decided to call this beautiful country home.

Don't think I will go again as a general admission. Ordinary bars and views from where you are allowed to go as GA. Will have to save up and pay for a raceday package I think.

Good crowd. Good racing. Good interstate coverage. Public facilities improving. Had a good afternoon.

Melbourne Cup meeting was very well organised Our group was delighted with the roped off area for each section of the seating and umbrella arrangement for reserved pre booked patrons on the lawns near the winning post

Met up with friends at the Diva Bar. Nice atmosphere and obviously a lot of punters. Snack food like chips, chicken wings, pies and sandwiches just to name a few, are available for putchase. Grassy outside area that had seating and you are able to view the horses as they parade and view the race. Yes I would go again and next time hope to visit the restaurant.
NOTE: Under current circumstances (COVID-19) everything was handled well. Had to register as per the invite email, as only a certain amount were allowed in, at the venue names checked with register list, hand sanitizer avaiable, markers placed for social distancing. On the whole a job well done.

Excellent day out. Have not done this for awhile and really enjoyed the day with friends and family

Not as good as other years. General admission $30. Can't get near finish line. All bins are recyling no general.
