Monkey Nut Café - Barossa Valley reviews
34Staff are fantastic! The food was really delicious and the setting beautiful! My daughter and I love the place!
Stunning view! Surrounded by vineyard! Nice tea and cake. We will come back on summer season for green leaves
We had a good meal again. Today it was made into a great experience by our waitress, Kathy, who treated us like VIPs, even when a large party turned up. Thank you.
Lovely venue
We did a little wine tasting first and the staff was friendly and informative and the wines to try were a large varied choice. Gift shop. Outside pergola eating area as well as indoors. Very child friendly.
Meal was delicious and again staff were professional and attentive. Well worth a visit and ask why its called Monkey Nut while you are there!
Best beef Burger ever tasted. Service great. Beautiful atmosphere.really relaxed.
Great service. Great value.
We decided to stop in here for an early Sunday lunch after not having been here for a few years. The café is next to the wine tasting area, and there's a small gift shop as well.
The staff are very friendly and most of all they offer table service, which is always a big plus for me.
The atmospere was very relaxed, and although they cater for, and encourage children, it certainly did not feel like a children's café. The box of outside sports equipment for the kids was a nice touch that encourages them to go outside of the fenced grass and run off steam rather than in the café. The meals were served promptly but we did not feel rushed.
Next time we go I'm definitely going to try one of their platters.
Worth going out of your way for.
Great cafè. Had coffees and shared a great piece of cake that was generously cut and yes, served with real cream.
Highly recommend this place!
We visit this place on a regular basis. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is great and so is the wine. They also have a cute gift shop and home made produce.
Nice little cafe in a boutique winery. Great hosts great food great wines and a unique Tea shop with various teas and assorted teapots etc for sale.
Great food, great service in a beautiful landscape. Would recommend to anyone looking for lunch or just morning or afternoon tea.
We went to monkey nut cafe for my daughter's 21 birthday high tea last weekend, wow it was fabulous so much food and lots of tea and coffee, would recommend it to everyone the food was so delicious and the birthday cake they did for us was amazing, the staff couldn't do more for us so friendly and nothing to much trouble would go back in a drop of a hat thank u so much ladies u made our day
We had booked here for my birthday. When we arrived we were told our table wasn't ready and we would have to wait as someone else had been given our table. We were then told breakfast was almost over (and were unlikely to get out table in time to have breakfast before it was packed away) and lunch wouldn't be served for an hour and they were booked out for lunch. While waiting we saw another table have their coffee order forgotten. We walked out and went to a different cafe down the road.
Food is awesome recommend the pie floater.staff are so friendly the even moved our table out side in the sun for us.great place will definitely be going there more often
Well, went there for lunch they brought the main before the entree. Had to wait alot. Soup was good. The one good thing was the owner did come out and apologize and offered free coffee so credit where its due.
