Mobara Japanese Cafè And Snackbar

We used to come here every month or so and their Japanese menu was extensive and amazing. We didn't go between April and early September and at some point the menu changed to a massive focus on Pho.

The Vietnamese meals are delicious and have large servings but there are only about 5 Japanese meals on the menu. Our favorites are gone. We enjoyed what we ate but it's a shame one of the best Japanese restaurants up north is no longer there. I hope they balance the menu and bring back more options soon.

Stunning hot chocolate, beautifully fresh baguette with generous fillings. Great communication by staff when reasonably busy.happy I had time between my buses, worth the wait:)

Service and quality has dropped significantly, especially the old lady with no eye contact didn't smile at all and she forced me to sit the table she want, not allow us to sit where we want to.

What happened to this place? Communal cutlery buckets on the tables? (gross). Now that the Vietnamese restaurant took over it just feels like a larger crappier Vietnamese restaurant. Why take over and change something that was so wonderful to have in Salisbury. Looks like they got rid of all the nice staff in there and replaced with their own. Seriously disappointed to see this happen. I ate at their restaurant before they took over this one and let me tell you it was truly awful.

This place was great (pre-covid), but has dropped the ball, food doesn't taste the same, service has dropped, and the some of the items on the menu don't exist anymore. Going to give this place a break for awhile.

Worst service ever! Waited over an hour for spicy ramen noodles.which never came. Karaage came out within 5 minutes of ordering with some pieces warm and some very cold. The second dish came out 40 minutes after the first and didn't even receive out drinks until we asked them, probably would have had to wait longer if we didn't ask. The tables were also not clean, left dirty and was there when we arrived and still when we left. We were in this place for over an hour. Very unpleasant experience. Will not be returning as they have zero care factor for their customers.

Excellent food and service, just a thought if you're after Japanese food, if the Japanese chef is not working then the food is going to be Vietnamese, which is also good

Awesome food. Our favourite place to have Japanese. The food is always fresh and hot and flavoursome, we haven't had a bad experience or even an average experience yet. Their prices are pretty good and when you consider the quality of food, you won't complain. And they have Asahi on tap, what more do you want or need?

Professional, quick and friendly service. All the food we order was served fast, fresh, hot and delicious. I now have a new favourite place to eat.

Really enjoyed my meal here and the atmosphere was nice and friendly. I had soft shell crab and it was one of the nicest Japanese dishes I have tried and really filling for the price point. Would recommend, and would visit again.

Delicious food, wonderful staff. Great place to enjoy the amazing culture and foods Salisbury have to offer. The seasonal menu's and relaxing dine area has me in love with it. Mobara and Ipho is a guilty-winter pleasure but I can't think of a time this place isn't great to go with friends and family to.

Surprisingly great place for breakfast and coffee. Friendly and quick service. Great breakfast menu, well priced and fab food. Pulled pork Benedict was awesome!

I've recommended this place to friends. The meals are generous and the meals are fantastically priced.

The lunch menu deal ($15) is worthwhile and all options are great.

Ordering from the menu requires a weird pen and paper system is weird, but works ok, and they've split the bill each time I've been there, though they are signed 'no split bills'

One of the best local restaurants/cafes we have found. Always friendly and quick service. Plus the food is excellent, nice big serving sizes. We love the Karaage chicken! =)

Amazing food, good price for value. Fast delivery from order, over 100 options to choose from.

Beer on tap. Soft drink. Juice. Steak, seafood, traditional foods.

Best of all they don't mind if you change up a dish a little.

Around $30 a person if you eat an entree main and drink.

Awesome service and food. In a great location either sit inside or outdoor area enjoying the sun
