Mobara Japanese Cafè And Snackbar reviews
70Shame on the service there. Food quality isn't the same as it was originally and the staff are no longer professional now. I often hear them talk behind customers back in their own language so choose to eat at this place at your own discretion. Also, to blame a customer that they spilt a sealed drink because they didn't provide a pointed straw and refused to replace or refund is another low. Would not come back and would not recommend friends to visit.
They have quite a good laksa, I like it in a particular setup which they don't always follow, although I write it down. The big letdown for me though is they put their prices up recently and it's just a bit too much for me. Was going there once or twice a week, now it will be more like once a month or two months as a treat, because I can't justify the price they charge at the moment. The price hike was significant, from 12.90 to 19.00 for my laksa.
Haven't had a disappointing meal here yet been in the restaurant and ordered online a few times and have been happy with each order
Customer service very bad lady very rude yelling we ordered our food didn't get everything we ordered food was Horrendously bad don't go there you will be disappointed
I used to come here alot and the waiters knew we were the usuals for sushi & sugar cane drink.
Now iPho had come back to run the place, the menu changed and the food is bad! So i stopped coming for a long time, today i went in for 2 sugar cane drink and the guy tells me which straw they give out for it, i knew something was going to happen because they gave the usual straws not the one with the sharp bottoms like chatime gives.
So i decided we will put it in inside the resturant and it popped the first cup everywhere & they offered to fix things up, now the second one popped under the cup and came pouring out like a tap for a good 3 seconds till my partner stopped it by holding it with a tissue and when we told them they started yelling saying it was our fault & they wont give me another drink to replace the second one.
Give out proper straws! Now if i was in the wrong, you think ill let yous keep my $14.14? Check your cameras if you think im lying!
The right thing would be to give me my refund but knowing vietnamese, i wont see that money back so it could go towards writing this review!
Worst customer service! At least i hope you check your cameras!
Nice place to visit try it good comfort food friendly service, so go and give them a go, you won't be disappointed.
Such great food and staff here. The sushi we ordered was so fresh and delicious! Will be coming back for sure and recommending it to everyone I can:)
The food is fairly tasty although the staff should be friendlier, prices are okay. Orders should be read more carefully.
Best customer service
Best chicken pho in Adelaide
Love it and love the spl fried rice too.
Love the food and service: > Especially the sweet and spicy chicken.
Was served by a cute staff with glasses and a bright smile.
Will come back again: 3
For some people its a hit and miss but me this place is tasty! I've tried most of the stuff on the menu but my favorite is the spicy beef and pork phó! Ohhh! And can't forgot about the crispy chicken thats a must to try
I had been so excited to try this restaurant for quite a while. I was so disappointed.
I went to order a meal, they said they had recently changed their menu and the meals I wanted were no longer available even though they were listed on the menu. The woman proceeded to explain that the majority of what was printed on the menu was no longer available and there were no markings to indict this on their menus. You would have thought that if an item is on a menu it is available or that they would have reprinted their menus.
I ended up leaving without ordering anything as everything I wanted wasn’t available anymore and it became too hard basket.
Mixed reviews it seems! My dining experience was nice! My only complain was two of the entrees i wanted were " Only available on weekends" but theres nothing to say why or which items that is.so that was a bit sad.otherwise my meal was really nice, Good food, the staff were friendly enough, it was quiet at lunch time and lots of seating available.i will most definitely come back.
This is mostly vietnamese restaurant that Japanese. Japanese selection on their menu is very limited, though I enjoyed the food. Pricing is just ok.
This place is unbelievably awesome.
We don't get to eat out often as a family, and Mobara makes for a truly delicious, wonderfully priced, enjoyable evening.
Wonderful friendly staff, with Kim being an exceptional staff member, full of smiles and humor.
Thank you for making our first meal out in over 12 months a wonderful experience.
Just went for coffee and muffin.
The staff who first served me and made the coffee was abrupt and not friendly.
The staff who served me the muffin was very friendly.
Unfortunately the coffee was barely warm and very weak; the muffin, although tasty, seemed a couple of days old and half way through I found a dark hair on the plate, definitely not mine, I have blonde hair. Sadly, not a good experience.
Great tasting food at a good price. They weren’t doing table service due to COVID-19. Could do with some music in the restaurant.
Bad service i orderd food and it took forever to come and when it came the portion size was so small, and then they forgot to give me eating tools, disgusting!
A disappointing visit. 2 separate meals both very average and extremely bland. Meal descriptions quite lacking. Unlikely to return now.
Quality and service of both have dropped since ipho and Mobara combined.
Loss of authenticity from both also.these were my 2nd and 3rd favourite places to eat in Adelaide.no longer
