Mitcham Reserve reviews
43What a stunning park tucked away in the streets of Mitcham. I came across it on a stroll in the area and was immediately taken by its size, the landscaping, and the architecture of its children's playground. Perfect for a family picnic or just a space for the kids to play.
My 8 year old son and I had a fantastic time, yesterday. We spent a couple of hours playing and exploring
Beautiful. Picturesque and immaculate park. New and imaginative playground, separate play ground for older kids. Stream with little "waterfall" and bridges. Popular but plenty of space, parking, toilets, nearby walking trails (Brownhill and elligots quarry)
Great reserve for kid's parties. BBQs, kids play ground, toilets and still enough space to kick a footy.
Beautiful park but not compatible with my one year old kid.
Great for older kids but the lack of things to do for toddlers is a set back
A beautiful park with a wonderful, natural creek. Perfect to kick a footy with the kids, have a birthday party or tie the knot in a well manicured slice of nature.
A very pretty suburban park with playground, toilets, seats, electric barbeques, a creek & beautiful trees!
Fantastic little reserve with public toilets, kids play area and table & chair areas for you to picnic. Plenty of area to kick a ball around or have a family game of cricket. Worthy of a visit.
Great place to picnic for young and old. Lush lawns, fun playgrounds, toilets central, carpark close, seating scattered around reserve.
Great park especially if the creek is flowing. New playground, clean toilets and plenty of facilities
Lots of shade, seating, green grass and BBQ facilities. Great playground for the kids. Easy parking.
Fantastic for a family picnic, gathering and for the children to play. The reserve could perhaps do with another shelter facility with maybe another bbq.
Loved the tree trunk carvings carved by i expect a chain saw dotted about the park.
Regards
Took the grand kids and they loved it.
This has always been a great place for all the family but the new additions by Mitcham Council have made it even better.
Upgraded adventure playground in a beautiful setting. Bbqs and shelters, great place for a kids party.
First visit here with the kids and it's gorgeous. Lots of shade, cool areas to explore, plenty of space, different playground areas and the "wizard's tower" is cool. Love the use of natural stone and wood foe the play areas.
Well maintained park. Excellent place for children's birthday party. Clean, close by toilets. Good play equipment for children and to add to the pleasure, the visit of a large koala that walked through a group of noisy excited children and climbed up to the top of a very large Eucalypt. I would advise arriving early to secure a car park as it is limited.
Fantastic upgrade to the kids play equipment. Lush grass areas for running, picnics, or just kicking a ball. Toilet onsite.
Great variety of swings, playground equipment, and shaded areas. Toilet facilities are available with dedicated parking near Belair Road.
Busy little park and as a result obviously the bins are not emptied on a weekend so the three bins they did have were all overflowing by the time sunday afternoon came round. Amenities are good with reasonably clean toilets and barbecues are also available with plenty of room for the kids to run around as well. I think i would have expected abit better though considering this is a park in one of the more prestigious councils in adelaide
