Mitcham Reserve reviews
43Based on the reviews on other online platforms, I thought it would have more to play on. Nice because there is a new little playground, only two swings, but I wouldn't take a long drive for it.
Very nice park. Quiet and peaceful. Plenty of places for children to play and have fun. Perfect for a picnic.
A lovely reserve, it's quite a large area with BBQ's and seating around the reserve. There is something for everyone here.
This playground is fun apart from the fact that the ramp access to the slippery dip has steel bars sticking out past the side rails that can barely be seen, and when a 2yr old goes running up to play they cannot see it and it is right at the height of their head so what happens? They smack straight into it, and they go flying to the ground. They either need to be cut off or padded.
Love it, kids had a great time. There is a couple of different areas for kids to play. The creek is fun with water in it. Lots of parking and there are toilets. Also at least one barbeque.
Awesome place with picnic facilities including multiple BBQ spots. A pity that the small creek has dried up
It's spacious and ideal for a picnic or quick break-away with family and friends. Got a play area for kids, BBQ areas, a separate ground along with restrooms. Its dog friendly as well.
If you are interested in the history of the area, you could see the historic keystone bridge, and the ancient trees of the historic Mitcham Village.
For photobuffs, it would provide beautiful greenery, landscapes and portrait options of the tree trail, the creek, etc
Beautiful area. BBQ facilities. Shade. Benches. Tables and playgrounds - 2 separate areas. There's also a gorgeous creek that both kids and adults enjoy
Ok, just popped in to use the facilities. But WOW best park I've seen and as a photographer I've seen lots. If the path on the southern side of the bridge was in better nick, then it would be perfect.
Spent a couple hours here on a sunny morning and my three year old had a blast. She first of all enjoyed the play equipment then the gardens and then the creek. This park has great amenities including toilets, BBQ and easy parking.
Quite a few interesting play facilities, shaded areas under trees, a creek, toilet facilities, and drinking fountains.
Nice reserve to have a picnic lunch with your family. Plenty of shade and also lots of room to have a kick of the footy.
Council has done a fair bit of work improving this reserve. Looks a lot different from the willow lined creek that I grew up playing by.
Wonderful. Mitcham Council has done an outstanding job renovating this space. Beautiful for picnics. Lots of families make use of this space.
Lawn and old gum trees on both banks of Brownhill Creek, connected by the old road bridge and a new pedestrian bridge.
The playground is straight out from children's tales.
Great place to take your children, lots of space in a green environment, with a little creek and mainly wooden playground equipment. Also a lovely place for children's birthday parties.
Kids loved this place. We thought we'd quickly drop in and were here unexpectedly for over two hours! Playing in the creek and the playground. Get the kids to bring their gumboots!
Well kept reserve. Very beautiful natural landscape with huge gum trees, creek with waterfalls & bridges. A lovely peaceful place with ample room for private picnics.
Came here for a wedding and discovered a lovely reserve with family friendly spaces including 2 playgrounds. A lovely rotunda is available for under cover gathering and the creek was definitely a guy with all the kids there
