Mile End Hotel

Room was nice and clean. Forgot my pants in the room, sent 4 emails to the reception and made 2 phone calls over one week and in that time the reception was not able to get in touch with housekeeping to ask them about it and get beck to me. 6 times I was told they will find out and get back to me and they never did. ZERO customer service

Really enjoyed the food and diverse menu, would definitely go back. Staff were all friendly and helpful

We went for lunch here today, have been before was nice before, but today was a shocker, I ordered a chicken parmy friend order mile end burger, chips were cold my salad was a joke only thing that was warm gravy, no cheese or tomatoe sauce on my schnitzel, he said burger worse than hungry jacks. Waste of good money never again

Waited over an hour for exceptionally mediocre food. Wasn't even that busy. Get your kitchen sorted. Would not eat here again.

Dropped in for lunch and have to say it was one of the best meals I’ve had all year! Soooo good

Pretty disappointing- have been a regular for a few years and yesterday had my pokie machine cleaned out. Cameras are faulty, Ill placed and or out of sync is the 3 different responses from staff. Left my details expecting a resolution or atleast a call, I've had to chase it up myself only to be told not liable no compensation.

An incredible spot! Atmosphere was so incredibly unique, right down to the nitty gritty details of decor. The menu had a great variety and everything we ordered was delicious- could not fault it. Staff were friendly and very skilled; they were even happy to share their favourite places and things to see and do with us locals. Can’t wait to visit again!

First time and they couldn't get a steak cooked within 90mins.

Cool, quirky pub with extensive kitchen menu and loads of drink options. The menu has ample vegetarian options!

The most awesome chips ai have had in Australia so far, keep it up. Rest of the food was great as well but chips were outstanding.

Shocking bar service.when you're the only person sitting at bar, shouldn't have to wait inordinate long time to be served.

Love the retro decor and the locale. Dine in the hotel or find great cuisines of all sorts, Ethiopian to American diner, a short walk away on Henley Beach Rd.

We were here for an 18th birthday. Food was awesome, service staff really friendly and it had a great atmosphere

Such an unassuming pub from the outside, a very cool relaxed place on the inside with plenty of deco vibes

The old hotel has wide open rooms, with open fireplaces, the food is excellent, especially fish and chips with salad and Asian dressing.

My partner and I are both foodies from Melbourne and we stumbled across this pub on our first day in adelaide. It was near where we were staying so we thought we'd check it out.

And boy are we glad we did!

The kangaroo filled steak with herded greens was THE BEST KANGAROO FILLET I'VE EVER HAD.

Kangaroo is notoriously difficult to cook as it can quickly become tough and taste too gamey but this meal was cooked in a way I never knew the meat was capable of being. It melted in my mouth and had a flavour akin to expensive scotch fillet steak that'll set you back $90.

I was blown away and will be telling everyone I know about this dish. The vibe was really cozy and staff were really friendly and attentive. Our meals came really quickly and we were both thrilled with the night. Great job and my compliments to the chef!
