Middleton Beach

Make sure you visit the right beach at Middleton. If you're at the wrong one you'll find out why very quickly, submerged, sharp rocks everywhere.

Great beach with a gradual slope. But why isn't it patrolled when there are many more swimmers here than nearby patrolled beaches (Chiton rocks) that have less swimmers?

Long and extensive beach with great surf also for beginners. The whole stretch of beach between Middleton and Goolwa is a surfing hot spot, so you can see surfers bobbing on the waves during all seasons. Worth a visit, also if you want to stroll down the beach and see some of those pink shells.

Love love love it! Stayed with friend who lives there we had daily walks with the dogs beautiful place!

Good area to learn to surf, even if you don't have the board it's able to rent it there. Also nice to just relax and read a book.

Good surfing beach but not the prettiest. Had heaps of ugly chunks all over the beach that looked like fluff balls.
