My review is about the restaurant for Mick O’Shea’s. It is a tidy, head-turning setting from the side of a busy main road. There is plenty of parking. The meals are a good size for hearty eaters. Prices are up there. But the full plate of good quality food matches. The banana cheesecake with caramelised banana garnish is heavenly. I loved this dessert. It was memorable. I’d go back just for that

Very busy. A booth was booked but not reserved. The staff was excellent in shifting the people from our booked booth. Although the hotel was busy the service was fantastic. The food was up to your usual high standard although the filling in the Steak and Guinness pie was dry. Everything else was up to your usual high standards.

Hoping never to eat here again. Fourth time in a row and the food was less than average. Took over an hour for a bowl of chips and our meal to be served. Over priced and portions are miserably small. Not impressed.

Atmosphere was good and it was very cosy but where it lacked was in the time it took time to get the food served and the food itself was very average. The food was overpriced for what you got. I don’t think I’ll be going again.

Out for dinner with relatives (Wednesday table for 8). Not keen on going there as disappointing meal last time, venue selected by others. Surroundings good, beer selection good. Function on, so forewarned about wait for food, which wasn't too bad. Husbands gourmet pizza barely warm with smattering of very dried up prosciutto, they warmed it up by nuking it in the microwave, very poor pizza. My beef schnitty was $24 and only barely average, gravy was an extra $3: 50! For plain gravy! No bread at all, you have to pay extra $2: 50 For a warm roll with butter. Small salad on side of plate average. Way overpriced for an average schnitty with no trimmings. Chips (virtually unsalted) only ok. In contrast, Aunties salt and pepper squid was terribly oversalted. The pies at the other end of the table looked ok and I didn't ask how they were.
Sorry Mick O'Shea's, you may be local, but will not be back (general vote from whole table).
In contrast, went to Hampstead Hotel Saturday night with friends, noted their schnitty was $20 including whatever sauce you wanted, huge salad and veggie bar (delicious), as many bread rolls as you wanted, great service even though busy. Every one enjoyed their food.
I don't normally put on reviews, but Mick O'Shea's deserves this one.

When we walked in we said how lovely it was as My Husband and I with my mum and siblings all went for mother day's lunch.husband and I ordered chicken schnitzel which was over 10mins late coming to us, they openly acknowledged that they had forgotten about our order.we were given free drinks.we forgave them. Then we ordered a sundae to share.we watched other people at our table eating their sweets. So I went and complained after waiting another 10mins.we forgave them for the main meal but a 2 times to the same couple sorry that's just not good enough. I spoke with the manager, I told them that we are not coming back.they gave us card vouchers which I then handed to my siblings.very sad day.

Awesome beer selection and friendly staff, food was nice but helpings could be a little bigger. Live music on certain nights seem to be quite decent and I am looking forward to going back, having a few beers and listening to some tunes.

Great place for a beer. Huge selection of local and imported brews. Good food selection with reasonable prices. Venue consists of a huge bar, dining room, near garden and the pokies. Staff friendly and venue can get busy during happy hours. Easy to find with lots of car parking.

This is a great pub. Fantastic selection of wines and drinks (as you'd expect), perfectly crisp and golden hot chips and a great outdoor area. Nothing better than a cold brew outside on a hot day. Bonus points for grass area being child friendly.

I walked thinking this was going to be your average parmy and pint pub experience.but I was wrong. Great menu with a heap of options to please everyone. Vegan, Vego, Pesco - all welcome. The chef is doing some great work here.

Great atmosphere and great food. The beer can be a touch expensive which is the only reason I didn't give a 5 star.

Highly recommend the place though!

We went at the weekend and had booked a month ahead but the didn’t inform us that there were going to be a wedding and a 50th party on the same night.
They noise was so bad that we wouldn’t go back again.
The room was very nice, but they lost us!

Went for a drink was very impressed with the place. Good catch up area for families and friends. Nice green lawns for the kids. Menu was fair and reasonably priced. Any place that has Guinness on tap gets my vote.
