Very busy hotel. The meals are good and the service is fast. We were a little rushed to order. The staff are super friendly.

Lovely pub set in beautiful surroundings.

Wow what an incredible experience. The beetroot curry was one of the best dishes I have ever eaten and the sorbet was absolutely delicious. So impressed with the quality of foods and ingredients at this hotel and will be back for sure. Restaurant quality and pub prices *****

Beautiful pub. So many great places to sit. Hannah was great. It was nice to receive table service. We both had schnitzels. The chicken one was better.
The vegetables served with chips were delicious.

Had a family dinner on Friday 28 January and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our meals were generous in proportion and several of us chose vegetables and mash which were fresh and tasty. A standout was the Beetroot curry. Service was prompt and attentive throughout our visit. Thanks

Staff friendly and efficient, food was excellent, setting is beautiful, complements to the Chef

Decided to stop and have lunch at the spur of the moment. Had our elderly parents with us. The manager couldn't have been more helpful and went above and beyond normal customer service to fit us in. Assisted with finding a table suitable with the parents walkers and even went as far as bringing a serving tray and taking their drinks to the table for them. The meal was absolutely delish and ticked every box. Would highly recommend!

I had a great family dinner here on New Years Day. It was perfect setting and the staff were lovely. Our food was delicious, including the prawn linguine and fish and chips. Great desserts too. Definitely recommend.

On the summer weekend went to McLaren Vale Hotel in McLaren Vale on the weekend. Attended the [Fig Gig] event under the huge fig tree with live singing, enjoying local wine + special brew beer, and Mexican Tapas!

Nice atmosphere, only problem we had was as soon as we ordered out meals they were on our table within 2 minutes.

Went here for lunch, with 3 friends and all of us really enjoyed our meals. Add to that, the staff were lovely and very helpful.
I've been going through a desire for chilli, not the amount where you can't taste the rest of the dish, but still have a nice tingling of the lips afterwards and they delivered on point. Well done guys.

We attended the Melbourne Cup lunch event at McLaren Vale Hotel and we had a wonderful time. It was very well organized. The 4 course meal was well spaced. Service was excellent, food was excellent, venue was excellent. We really had a great time! Thank you to all staff at this event. We went home with full tummies and a happy face.

Great venue, if you're in the area it's worth a visit. The service was really great, every thing was cooked perfect and a nice selection of well mixed cocktails.

Lovely setting in heart of McLaren Vale. Family friendly, whilst offering bar options to suit everyone. Value meals with tasty plant based options for those moving away from meat.

We had a lovely dinner here, staff were friendly and food was delicious. The enclosed and heated "outdoor" dining section was comfortable and cosy. Almost didn't dine here due to mixed reviews but would happily return.

Staff very helpful. Met friends on a Friday night. Our online booking couldn't be found, but staff happily found a table for us even though the dining room was full. The food was fantastic. The entertainment was a singer playing guitar. He was talented and enjoyable but too loud. We had to move seats to have a drink where we could hear each other.
