Mawson Lakes Hotel & Function Centre

Overall good location, walking distance to Woolworths, target etc pub food was good, service was very slow.
My room smelt moldy, was only there for one night so didn't bother asking to be changed to another room.

Large roomy dining room with helpful and smiling bar staff who offered us a choice seating.
The menu had a good selection of foods to please most palates with reasonable pricing for a public holiday.
The steakburger was ample and delicious, the steak was tender and easy to eat, but the chips which were plenty that came with the burger were so salty.
Good selections of beers, wine on tap and what you generally expect to drink in a well sticked bar.

Really enjoyed our stay with a fantastic meal in the dining area. Rooms were clean with lots of amenities. Will be back!

Great food, salad bar and the best thing for parents with kids - a free booklet with crayons and stickers! Not cheap, but not insanely expensive either. Just a pub unfortunately but a nice and clean one. Also a small kids play corner which is great. Lovely staff, food came out quick enough. Will come here again.

Lovely meals, great salad bar choices. I ordered the chicken snitzel in panko breadcrumbs with gravy, very nice and extremely filling. Lovely friendly service good price for size of my meal

Really disappointed with lunch the other day. Drink prices outrageous and meals very ordinary. Curry was tasteless, snitzel had a stale/off taste, chips limp and cold and sad salad bar. Been there lots in the past and enjoyed it but won't be back again!

Very loud at night. Not suitable for young children trying to sleep. The sounds from the street and pub are easily heard in the rooms even with windows shut

Good environment, I ordered the chicken burger and it had little to no sauce with a piece of chicken to small for the burger. The burger bread was black which tasted terrible. The chips had no salt. I wouldn't eat here again but the place is nice.

$4.50 for a soda water with 1/2 a thin round of lemon. Post mix! For that price I can buy 5 x 75c@1.25 ltr bottles of soda water.the drinkers are obviously subsidising the mostly overpriced restaurant.no wonder pubs are struggling to pull patrons.gouging is gouging regardless who is doing it! Some fairness in pricing as paying the same price as a post mix Coke with 50c of syrup so what did I pay for. The carbonation and/or bubbles. Really poor.

I visited for some after work drinks and food. They have a sports bar area and a dining area. The drinks are reasonably priced and the food is well proportioned. They have a few vegetarian options as well. Service is quite nice too. However the ambience is nothing special. It has pokies as well which i'm not a fan of.

I have since gone back and stayed in their rooms. The rooms are lovely and the customer service of the staff is impeccable.

Went for a work related training. Our room was ok but there was alot of noise from next door's music and kept distracting us. Lunch provided was also meh. (very basic wraps). Good coffee machine tho, untill even that ran out of milk.

To overpriced 250 gram steak and a few lousy chips paid 13 bucks for the same meal in Richmond nsw at McGee's when I travelled and better cut of steak

Clean, tidy and conveniently located. Staff are friendly and helpful. Stay here every time I work down in Adelaide.

The wedding reception was very nice, bar staff in the function room very quick, but the food was terrible, 6/7 people on my table all mentioned how bad it was, chicken was much better then the beef, but most of it came out cold

Absolutely dreadful, the WORST chicken parmigiana I've ever eaten in my life. On a table of 20, only 1 person enjoyed their food, with most leaving a half full plate. Would not return to eat there again.

Stayed in a spa suite overnight and the spa was huge, I've stayed in many spa suites elsewhere and this was amongst the biggest. Had the buffet breakfast and the range was fantastic, good quality too. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. It was a little noisy sometimes overnight and the shower could have had a bit more pressure but overall I was very happy and will definitely stay again.

Public transport great, Mawson Uni. Mawson Hotel great for conferences. Plus fittnes gym 24,7 Shopping malls. Restaurants

Nice tucker has been a lot of reno's done since my last visit for the better I would say.
Certainly a busy place now

The food there is hit and miss. Never the same standard twice in a row. We live local but choose to eat elsewhere.

Stayed 4 nights for work. Hit with a musty, farty, bleachy smell upon entering my apartment. Perhaps the worst mattress I've ever tried to sleep on. Kitchen was good with oven, stove & dishwasher. It looked pretty clean. Staff were very friendly and professional.
