Marden Charcoal Chicken

Lovely food, great chicken rolls. Good staff & a decent range of what one would expect at a chicken shop. Tad on the pricey side of things however.

Asked for a garden salad with no dressing.got a Greek salad with dressing. Fish and chips fish was rubbery and had a hair under the batter. Consistency was lacking in proportions.

This place is absolutely amazing, the chips are so crunchy and soft on the inside cooked in the best oil and the tastiest chicken salt wow. There chicken snitzels packs are 10/10 if I was to rate. Burgers and other items I have had including dim sims where perfect I have tried nearly every chicken shop in Adelaide and this is one of the best along with some others I would definitely go here.

5 stars. This is my favourite chicken shop by far in Adelaide. They take so much pride in their food. The owner of this place does an amazing job. You won’t regret going here. It’s 10/10

They occasionally put garlic sauce on my falafel when I've ordered without. But apart from that, they are great.

I am a regular I asked for a chicken that just come off charcoal and they gave a chicken that had been sitting there an HR or two it was horrible they, 've lost a valued customer this is the second time it's happened not happy what happened to looking after customers no one cares anymore.

Stone cold AB with gristle throughout the lamb, and I didn't even call to order ahead, I went in and ordered on the spot- but I guess if u make the AB first and leave it sitting around while the rest of your order cooks it'll do that! If u want a GREAT AB the blue and white cafe North Adelaide is the place to go, not this joint.

This is the go to chicken shop. I have ordered a chicken snitzel pack which was amazing. Plenty of chips with an amazing crunch and soft potato inside with the best chicken salt I have ever tasted. The chicken is so fresh and succulent big portion and AMAZING gravy. There Hamburgers are also AMAZING plenty of flavour and freshness and is a good old fashioned hamburger which brought back memories from my childhood. This place is great. Would recommend.

The burgers and chips are amazing! I don't live in the area any more but I still go back and get the burger with the lot every chance I get.

Good chicken. Had change of management a few years ago, but kept the charcoal chicken. Is our default local for chicken and chips night

I was expecting it to be expensive, but it is a case of not the cheapest, and not the most expensive. More in the cheaper to medium range. The food is really good

Hands down the best chicken shop in Adelaide! Chicken is so succulent & tastes very premium. Chips are delicious not to mention the chicken salt they use and gravy have an amazing flavour. You’ll be back for more in an instant! If you’re a fan of chicken snitzel packs then go here for sure. Words can’t describe how good this place really is. Friendly staff makes our experience even better every time we go here. Myself and my partner have tried almost every chicken shop in SA and this is by far the tastiest we’ve ever had! Take my word & Thank me later!)

Favourite lardball eatery. Their AB (a unique South Aussie speciality) is one of the better ones out there. Certainly better than any in the area.

Best Shop of its kind in the area. Friendly service awesome AB packs. AB is to die for, my guilty pleasure.
