Mangal Sweets reviews
46Poor service. I have ordered chole samose and gets only chole samose. No curd. Sauce or stuff we expect to be in it to be a chole samosa chaat.
Customer service was limited, not because of rudeness, but because of the lack of English at point of sale. In terms of quality, the mithai/sweets were not as fresh as I expected for the price charged. They were nice sweets (I really liked the coconut burfi and gulab jamun) but overall, it was not the freshest I've tasted.
Good range of sweetmeats, sour items like samusa etc. Good service, reasonable price. Sometimes queue can be long. There are jilapi, gulap jamon, laddu, variaty of Indian sweets. It is in Ranik Farmers Market, so you will get vegetables from there. It is mostly take away shop.
Avoid the papdi chat. The papdi is too hard and just served with watery chutney and few pieces of potato and chole. Samosa chat is decent.
I had order 100 samosas and Barfi, almost 30 people tried front of me everyone took one bite rest of they’re thrown in bin, no one liked a Barfi it’s like Chewing gum, I feel bad front of my guests. I will never recommend to anyone go on this sweet shop.
Pre ordered, still respectfully waited 15 mins in the line to be served and the lady at the counter refused to serve an item which was available. She served the item to the person who was behind me and who did not even pre order. Very poor customer service. Disappointed. Food is decent only.
Staff is rude and proud don’t have manners to deal the customers and not facilitating the customers and even coming from long distance close the shop 5 mints earlier
Saying you must come tomorrow if you want to buy something
Quality has dropped a lot, got bondi ladoo and namak para the other day. Found hair in the namak para’s pack. Really starting to doubt the hygiene standards now. None of the staff at front of house had a mask on and also Ladoos not the same as used to be.
Very bad experience today
We just Ate chole samosa chat here
Serving staff has not any manner we were demanding other things but she was busy on phone ‘ samosa chat has no curry
They didn’t give any water or other things
We asked about onion they give only 2 tablespoons diced brown onions that will be cost 10 kg in just 2 dollers
Personally I won’t recommend you
Worst customer service ever i had in my life. That girl who is on counter was talking with someone else And ignoring the customers rather than taking the customers.on work she has to pay intention. Also food quality was bad tasteless noodles i ever had
This rating is for customer service she is full of attitude and don’t have any sense to deal with customer. But food was delicious.
Poor quality food-we ordered Samosa chat, dahi puri, chole bhature and chat papadi. Nothing was fresh. Chai was served luke warm.
Poor customer service as well
This is a 5 of a place. Best Samosa's and laddoo's in all of Australia. Ever since I've tried their sweets n snacks I've never tried any other sweet shop.
Keep up with the good work n tasty sweets.
Give Mangal sweets a definite try
Great place for a nice Indian meal. Alot of indian street food on the menu. On weekends you can get a set deal meal for a very good price. Indian sweets at this place are really very good. Seats around 15 people. The Tea and samosa at this place is really nice. We've been going almost every week to fill our tummies with Indian snacks.
45+ mins wait for 2 plates of chole bhature. And the lassi arrived after we had finished and were ready to leave.
Traditional Indian Sweets and Chats. Very clean and helpful staff.best place to enjoy n relish some sweets n chats
We been there first time for eat panipuri. Worst panipuri we had over there. If I could, I would give -5 star for this place. I would not recommen anyone to go there.
Great value and quality Indian foods, in particular the sweets and street foods. The savoury foods are mild, so will suit the whole family. And always fresh
Great place for tasty North India food sweets and favourites. Good customer service, though lack bit of cleanliness.
