Nice, relaxed cafe on the square. Outdoor undercover dining or indoors. Meals pricey but tasty. Friendly staff

Service was poor, 50% of the items were put through wrong. I ordered 2 juices and 2 blt. Somehow the very clear instructions for the BLT was ignored by the server and the wrong juices were put through. Considering the prices i would expect service to at least be able to get the items correct, maybe even be polite beyond that.

Delicious brunch and coffee - but we had to wait 45+ minutes on a Sunday morning for our food.

One of the more popular restaurants in the middle of Henley Square. It is always crowded and given the location, it is easy to see why. Ample seating inside and outside, it is a great place to have lunch in a summer day or night, or even a small coffee break.

The food itself was ok though, but not great. The calamari was solid with a light batter bit it was at times a bit soggy. Chips were great though and crispy. The beef slices from the salad were on the chewier side. Prices are reasonable at around $25-30 per head.

Dirty cutlery with food scraps stuck on multiple utensils at our table was a poor first impression. I ordered the squid which was not cooked properly to the point of being inedible. An overall poor experience that was at least acknowledged by the staff as I did not have to pay

Simply great food in a good location. Corn fritters and eggs benedict were brilliantly done!

Went to order take away, then decided to sit in. Was ready to order straight away. Was sat down and waitress ran off didn’t offer water, or to take a coffee order either. Sat and waited for 10 minutes before the same lady came over and said “won’t be long. ” A couple who came in at this time was seated given water and asked for a coffee/tea order. I went to get up and leave when this young lady came over and took my order. I relayed my displeasure as I was about walk out. Poor service. Poor awareness of who has been seated and who hasn’t. Roughly 15mins from seated to order taken. I changed my order to just a coffee. And it took another 10 minutes to come out. With no other patrons coming into the cafe. From a previous cafe manager this is very poor service. The only thing that made up for it was the coffee was delicious.

Amazing vibes and location. Food is great. Drinks are high quality. Customer service is standard but good. Price very reasonable.
Great selection of sandwiches and seafood. Chips were great. Salad was fresh but a bit plain.

Waited for 30mins to have order taken, after being seated and told it was table service. Even asked staff member collecting plates if we could have someone come over, still no effort with tables arriving after us getting table water/coffee orders. Ended up leaving after no service which is disappointing as have been there multiple times previously on much busier days

Lovely friendly staff, quick service, a great drop of Barossa Squashed Apple Cider and delicious crispy chunky chips. Very nice indeed.

My go-to place for brekky in Henley beach, highly recommend, great to sit down on the terrace or to take out (give them a try if you're looking for plain croissants, they have the best!)

Had THE worst service there twice now. The first time my mum and I waited for 10 minutes to be seated, and so did a group of 4 standing behind us. We were all told to wait a minute by a lady. After a while we all left and went elsewhere.
The second time our who order was wrong.
1. We ordered a hot chocolate in a mug; it came in a little cup
2. I am vegetarian and asked for the loaded croissant not to have bacon; it came with bacon.
3. When told they would make the hot chocolate, we had to ask if it was coming out 3 times despite everyone around us getting their drinks.
4. I asked for a vanilla latte; we were given a latte with no vanilla added. I asked does this have vanilla in it, the girl said she’d check and then she came back with a little jug of vanilla that I had to pour into my own latte? !
5. The loaded croissant came out so late when they made it the second time.

Disgraceful! The place has seriously gone down in quality in recent times.

Had fried calamari and chips with coffee. Chips and coffee were great, but the calamari was a bit soft and disappointing. Overall good food and atmosphere

Not too sure what has happened to the food quality but I used to order the breakfast burrito and it was so much nicer. Have ordered it several times sense and it’s always so oily and doesn’t hold together like it used to. The coffee here is great and the staff and always friendly but please change back to the old recipe.

You’d get your coffee faster if you flew to Ethiopia and hand picked each coffee bean individually.

Great coffee and friendly staff! Would recommend. Make sure to get here early if you want a work coffee if the sun is out. Gets pretty busy!

Eateries by the beach have my heart and this place is one of them…
Location: can’t get better than this super hap
Food: amazing food with very generous quantity and great taste
Service: great and fast service by the girls there even in busy hours

It was a bit chilly sitting out but being able to watch the waves breaking on the beach was just uplifting.as was the extra shot large latte that tried to warm me up and almost succeeded.no matter, it was very tasty and the ambience is bar none!

Menu is great. Food outperforms. Drinks are classic and well made. Service fast, polite and accurate. Well done staff and owner/s.
