Longview Vineyard

Staff were warm and accommodating, and the place was very picturesque. It was great to have a vegan pasta option and that the chef was willing to change out the anchovies on the focaccia to dehydrated olives (delicious), though I did think the vegan pasta option lacked a bit of sauce (unfortunately the pesto that normally comes with it has cheese in).

Staff were very friendly and attentive, the food was amazing in the cellar door (chefs selection course), full of flavour and paired very well with the wine tasting. Accommodation was great, peaceful with beautiful view of the Vineyard, followed by a massage in the Day Spa the next morning. Left feeling very relaxed and happy

I recently had my wedding at longview. It was the most magical day. The events team are all amazing and very supportive and helpful, special shoutout to Callie for all your help. The winery is absolutely stunning and all our guest commented on how perfect it was. The food and drinks were to die for. The accommodation is amazing especially at the price point. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding venue! Will 100% be visiting again.

We absolutely cannot fault Longview for our recent experience. We would recommend to anyone wanting a venue to get married to consider Longview. Our experience from start to finish was simply spectacular. We cannot thank Callie (the wedding coordinator) and her team enough for the care, time and energy they put into our special day. Everyone was so warm and friendly, and no request was too hard. Callie is such an asset to Longview and made our day so stress free. Perfect place to sip beautiful wine and enjoy some nice cheese platters on a wintery weekend afternoon.

Booked via Amazing Co and they didn't really provide an option for dinner - however the day was saved by Josh. Not only was Josh immensely knowledgeable in his wines, but he helped us out by organising a cheeky pasta dish for us that tasted incredible. He worked with us to provide a solution to something that really wasn't the winery's problem - the sign of incredible customer service. He also told us some funny stories about pasta names. Absolutely legend.

In terms of Longview, the room was great and the environment was beautiful. Will be back for sure.

We stayed in the homestead for 3 days with 3 couples and the whole experience was outstanding. The cellar door, wine and food at the restaurant, staff and accommodation were all 5 star!
Views and breakfast were also really incredible!

We stayed in the Shiraz and Pinot rooms, they were absolutely beautiful with amazing views. All breakfast foods were stocked and anything we needed was quickly brought to us. All staff were lovely including dealing with my multiple phone calls just to organize the booking. Josh looked after us for most of our stay including lunch and a wine tasting and made us feel like the only guests there, he was very informative while also making it fun. The day spa is also a must do, so relaxing!

Visited the cellar door and tried few different wines.really good but the food was amazing and Chef Luca was very accommodating. Kudos to the Chef. Will definitely come back soon.

Spent the afternoon at the day spa. The best day spa experience I've had in SA. The staff were phenomenal and the location is stunning.

We have just spent the most beautiful weekend at Longview for our son’s wedding. The accommodation was wonderful- excellent breakfast, very comfortable bed and full self-contained kitchen. The wedding team was outstanding. They couldn’t do enough for us and set everything up perfectly. The food was delicious and the room looked beautiful. 100% recommend, Longview as a wedding venue or for just a get away stay. Thank you for making our family wedding so memorable.

Possibly a bit behind in maintenance as it is also a working Vinyard.however some one needs to have a look around at spider Webb's

We stayed in the Spa suite. Wonderfully relaxing overnight stay complemented by a massage the next morning. Nice breakfast provisions as well. Earlier we wandered around the beautiful grounds after having a glass in the cellar door. Even though we were still finishing our wine some time after the closure time, we didn’t feel under pressure to drink up. Great service all round.
Longview has so much going for it. Definitely 5 stars

I visited the cellar door for lunch yesterday and it was amazing. The flavours of the food were first class, portions perfect and so delicious. We were super excited to meet chef Luca again. The Longview team was so friendly and accommodating.

Beautiful place, wonderful wines and a great venue for a wedding. The accommodation is very high quality and the attention to detail excellent. We loved our short stay here. Longview is well worth a loooong drive!

Had a great couple of days switching off in the spa suite. Loved the area and surroundings. Back to work

We can’t thank Callie and the team at Longview enough for what is by far the happiest day of our lives. It feels like a dream and we have to keep pinching ourselves, but it was all 100% real. My husband and I eloped in October this year. We had our ceremony in the dance floor room in front of the fire with fairy lights twinkling above us. Just us, our two witnesses (thanks again Callie for being one) and our celebrant Kareena Nowak. We then took some time to wander the amazing Longview grounds and have our photos taken. So far the sneak peek photos are breathtaking. Next we went to the Cellar Door for an amazing three course meal for two. The food was out of this world good! After this we checked into the Spa Suite for the night, what a spot and what a view! You won’t believe it can get better but it does. Later that afternoon we booked into the Longview Day Spa for two hours of pampering. Massage, facials and pedicures! See? !? ! A DREAM DAY! The whole Longview team went over and above to see that our day was special and it truely was that and SO much more. 5 stars just isn’t enough. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We will back again and again.

The staff at the restaurant were very professional and courteous. When it came to our accomodations, the staff were equally amazing. We spent our 20 year anniversary together here at the spa suite and the room was perfect. Lastly, the Sav Blanc + Shiraz wines were soo good. We will come again and thank you.

My husband and I enjoyed a fantastic lunch at Longview Vineyard over the weekend with some friends. We absolutely loved our experience and raved about it all the way home.
All of the staff were warm, kind and professional - no request was too much for them, and the food was just fantastic!
I cannot recommend this beautiful venue enough, whether it be for a function or a weekend lunch - it was truly a lovely Saturday spent with great friends, stunning views, delicious food and wonderful treatment from the staff.

Great place, here with a group of friends staying in the Lodge, 4 bedrooms with ensuites. Fridge comes with food and we’ll appointed. Cellar and day spa top it off.

Have to love the one star reviews about the NON Wedding, some reviews say there was no wedding until one of the reviews stated the staff argued with the Bride.

Well don’t try ruin a great venue because you tried to cheat them.
