Lone Star Rib House & Brews Gilles Plains

Came in for the first time with my support worker to try there all you can eat deal.initially it was awesome order got taken.but that's where the hospitality ended we were served our food and initial cocktails to not be spoken to again until end of meal we both would of had 2 more cocktails each if the waitress paid attention instead of looking at her phone. I wrote a complaint to restaurant to be offered a $20 voucher they lost out on at least another $80 in sales and for a restaurant where we were basically the only ones in there for the better part of 2 hours over lunch period.bit disappointed but I guess it is what it is

Bought 2 wagyu meals here Saturday night.absolutely rubbish.mashed potatoe was like glue.would definitely never eat there again.

Went for dinner Sunday night, food was nice but pricey. Kids eat free - but doesn’t include a drink or ice cream, so not really free compared to other restaurants which include a drink & ice cream. So still cost us $10 per child. Service initially good. However the problem was trying to finalise the bill. The 2 staff members did not listen when we wanted to use 2 cards. One was pre paid, the other eftpos. A simple request which we had done before at other restaurants with no issues. Long story short they made a simple bill look like it was something difficult. It took 10 minutes to finalise the bill after multiple mistakes by the 2 staff members - with no apology & turning around on the way out to get an eye roll from one staff member is not a nice way to treat customers, especially when it was not our fault. Will not return.

I had the plain burger and dare I say, it was amazing. I put the liquid cheese on the bottom of the burger and I felt like I was in heaven. They were really quick with our order.

Great American style restaurant. Food is delicious, staff are friendly and helpful, and they have some pretty good deals. A new favourite!

As brilliant as the other Lone Star locations available here in Adelaide. Lovely atmosphere, big TV for when the rugby is on, friendly staff, and delicious food!

Just take a lunch, why too hard sell to add on bread and dessert, too much for a single girl and so annoying.

First time was excellent. So we decided to go there for Mothers Day lunch. Initially the staff said that there was no booking until I produced the email and then there was one. The steaks and chips were cold and dry. I had observed them sitting under the heat lamp for at least 10 minutes and I had hoped that they were not ours! I gave feedback to the boss and he said it was impossible for the steaks to be cold. I was not looking for a discount I was simply giving feedback. He walked off. The cashier asked for feedback. I explained that the steaks were cold. She said that's no good and presented the bill. We wont be going back.

Wait staff were very nice and accommodating.

Food is on the pricer side, although the size does fit in well.
Would be 5/5 of the prices were a bit lower.

It's a big call but their ribs are probably the best in SA. Also had their tacos and fajitas that were delicious but part of their May special so hopefully they add them to their main menu
Only improvement would be to serve water in a glass not a plastic cup!

Came here the other day, for a late lunch with my mum, as we didn't have to wait to long for our food.

As my mum ordered the fish and chips, as she said the fish was delicious especially when it's flathead fish, as the hot chips were crunchy and well seasoned as the salad with it was delicious too

As I ordered the chicken schnitty with plain gravy as the schnitty was delicious and mouthwatering every bite, as the hot chips was delicious and crunchy as well. The salad on the plate was well dressed with dressing and it was tasty too

We also asked about something else and one of the male staff he was polite and respectful about this other issue we had as well.

The waitress we had she was lovely and very friendly as well

The meals were huge and well worth every cent as well

This place was amazing. The only reason it's getting a 4 and not a 5 star is because it was Saturday and they play live music on Saturday so it was hard to hear my partner and the waitresses so we had to go outside. The food was shockingly good, it's hard to find good ribs in Adelaide and this place did not dissapoint. Fall straight off the bone melt in your mouth ribs, we will definitely be back, my partner had the lamb shank and that was the same. 10/10 on the food definitely a must try place. My only advice for the Venue is it is a little small so maybe turn down the microphone on the live music abit so people can hear themselves.

I'm a nine year old that eats a lot of chicken nuggets and these chicken nuggets and chips were very good.

The best pork and beef ribs in Adelaide. Also come with large serves which can be challenging for many people to finish alone. The sides are also very tasty. The restaurant is very spacious and clean, thumbs up for the clean toilets. While price is in the medium range, they do have loyalty program via App.

Tasteless food, definitely does not live up to the Texas cuisine. Service is average. Newcomers beware - they also make you pay a 65c surcharge if you pay with card right after you have paid for your meal! All while immediately pointing to a sign which was hidden behind some object which i did not see upon paying for my meal.

Please with all sincerity, the North Adelaide restaurant is far more nicer, and they don't seductively make you pay 65c surcharge just for paying with your card!

Love this place staff and manager were so friendly and amazing, food was fantastic and tasted so good recommend definitely will definitely go there again and the atmosphere was great

What a gem hiding in Gilles Plains Shopping center! Perfect place for either family eating out or friends catch up. Everything we ordered is tasty! Plus, the people there are amazing. I'm definitely coming back!

Very bad experience going there. Utter waste of $110. I ordered a chicken schnitzel which was burnt and dry. The portion was very small of $26. The portion we got is what we get from supermarket for $8 for 4 pieces of chicken schnitzel. For that we paid $26. It was really bad. My son ordered a ribs dish which was good but other food were really bad. Wouldn't go there again.
