First time in The Loca-Vore and YOU have to go! It’s a cozy little spot with amazing food and pet friendly. I recommend to try the arancini entree. The food was rich in flavour and the presentation was excellent. The service we received was so amazing. We were outside with our dog and they provided blankets to us. Even my dog received treats! We definitely will be back. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.

First class breakfast at Locavore, the mushrooms on toast are sensational. As are the coffee and service. This local family restaurant have just started opening for breakfast on weekends from 8.30am. Do yourself a favour and pop in.

Lovely little place in Stirling. The atmosphere was warm & friendly, the food was a good size & they tasted amazing & the staff was attentive. We will definately return.

Deeelicious food. Gnocchi was to die for. Great service as well. Pretty pricey though, so probably won't be back. But all mains, sides and desserts were fantastic

Food was nice but the restaurant was very cold tonight. We sat near the windows and I was uncomfortably cold all evening.

Was there on the Queens Birthday weekend 2021, was one of the best decisions we made that weekend walking through their door.
Lunch was sensational and the stand out was the hot sweet chilli sauce, OMG some say too hot not us we were licking it off the plate before it could be cruelly taken away.

Chef Matt spoke with us and the next thing we had some liquid GOLD, can't thank you enough, had it with our chicken in Sydney tonight.

The Loca Vore Restaurant & Bar on Mount Baker Road, Stirling was visited for lunch, on a high end of Culinary Food Eatery. Was impressed for the local SA dine in venue at the first sight. The Restaurant looked good and clean. Decor looked classy. Service from the first sight was smiling and welcoming. Leading to upstairs and straight away offered with a chilled cold house still water. We were explained about the entrees from the board, professionally done with an applause. Ordered 3 entrees with a bottle of Prosecco Sparkling wine. Grilled Prawns in Paprika & Olive oil, Marinated Squid with Aioli and Grilled Halloumi with Tomato Salsa. Favour was amazing. Well seasoning. All dishes are well defined and favoured individually. All usage of Ingredients are chosen perfectly.
But when main meals came, the burgers were great and the Homemade Chunky chips were sensational. The Beef Pattie was cooked perfectly medium except the homemade Tomato sauce was a bit too sweet. With the Grilled Baramumdi, the color of the fish was spot on designed with flare! Amaging Chef with good Culinary art knowledge. However, very disappointed with the bok Choy served with this dish. It still had sand in it. Very griddy bite. It actually destroyed the feeling of my appetite. At the same time, the shelves and deck for displace of the flower pots were filled with dust and stain Marks. Sitting upstairs on the Mezzanine level for an upper class price Restaurant, definitely dragged the mood down. Remember, upper class restaurant charges upper price must provide upper service and quality. Anyway, we were planning at the beginning to stay for coffee and desserts. Mind changed. Hope one day, I will be returned to see thing change for better. 100% in heart advising, detailing makes success!

Amazing staff and food, catering to lots of dietary needs and it feels good that the local produce is better for the environment too! Locavore is not just dining; it's an experience of a love of amazing food. The atmosphere is so magical and true to the hills too. We had the best night! Thank you, Locavore

Really enjoyable experience. Quaint country feel with friendly service. Really delicious food with great veg options. Finally a chef who knows how to think outside the square! Will be back for sure

Had a late lunch there with the family and loved the food. Not over the top.but very delicious nonetheless. Steak was seasoned and cooked very well and the mushroom arancini balls with garlic aioli were packed with flavour. Their tiramisu might very well be the best in the hills. And how about their service? Top notch! Made our first visit to Stirling very memorable.

What a lovely lunch at this place we had today.fish of the day and Chicken dish from the main course! Service, ambience and delectable food. Everything was cooked to perfection! Loved it and we are coming back here for sure.

Fantastic food. Very friendly staff, great atmosphere. Good serving sizes, enough to satisfy but not so much you are stuffed. Reasonable prices and a good selection of wines and bèers. Certainly recommend.

A very nice place and decor, staff very professional, good quality food, worth visiting in lovely Stirling.
