Little Chilli Padi

Ordered some takeway yesterday. Firstly, the person taking the order was effectively discouraging us from ordering by emphasising how busy they were and would probably be able to "fit the order in".

Secondly, the food itself was pitiful in the quantity provided and was on the verge of being inedible. In all likelihood, it wasn't fresh and was simply reheated.

Disappointing, especially because the food has been great in the past. Lift your game.

Busy on a Friday night. Relatively small and a little noisy. Food was good as far as I can tell as it was my first visit to a Malaysian restaurant.

Had a wonderful birthday dinner for 15 people on a Saturday night here. They were very accomodating with the reservation and arranged a nice row of tables! Food came out quite quickly for the number of guests and everything was delicious.

Strongly recommend their char kuey teow (especially the sambal version for those who can take the heat), nestum chicken, asam laksa, and the drinks like the iced teh-c (tea with evaporated milk) and kopi-c reminded me of home in Singapore.

Overall a fantastic restaurant that I would patronize time and time again!

Went there for lunch yesterday and they were closed! Despite their own website saying they were open. Most disappointing as had driven 80kms to go there!

The food here is great. Its authentic food made by authentic people who speak perfect English. No hand signals required how refreshing. Its not fast food and it only holds a small number of people but its open at lunchtime and teatime and I've never had to wait or been turned away so I guess it's about the right size. Its a little noisy and probably needs some sound deadening materials but its good value and Ive been several times.

A place where you can stop over for Malaysian food cravings. Service and food is good and usually offers lunch special. Seatings are cosy and taste wise is pretty close to Malaysian food. Child and parking friendly. A casual place to visit.

It's my first time to visit this restaurant. Food is nice and aucentic! Definitely will come back to try other foods.

PS. Dinner time is quite busy. Will need wait around 20-30mins.

Did takeaway today, told me that I have to wait for 20-25 minutes for just two meals without any explanation. It didnt look busy at that moment. If there were lots of orders before us, staff can let us know, or i takes some time for some dishes, we will understand and decide whether we want to buy foods here, not telling me after I made the payment.

I am a fan of Pad Thai! But their pad thai was very mediocre, dry and bland. They can definitely imrove on the food quality as the place has a very food ambience. Cheers. Looking forward to taste in future!
