50 Come for the Roti Canai. Stay for everything else.
Delicious food at great prices. Friendly service.
Don’t forget to order the Roti Canai.
Great place to enjoy authentic Malaysian cuisine with family and friends. Friendly owner and staffs provided excellent customer service. Keep up the good work and I highly recommend this place for others.
One of the best Laksa I’ve ever had, in Australia or KL. Arguably the ingredients here are higher quality. Lovely, friendly staff and a nice relaxing atmosphere. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.
Food is not too bad though there are better options for the same cuisine in Adelaide without having to endure second rate service - long wait and staff have not been very nice, regardless of rush hour or not - bad idea to blame customers for their own shortcomings. Preferential service for different groups of people, it seems. Best to give it a miss.
Don’t dine in if you’re hungry. Expect sitting for an hour before food arrives. They prioritise take away and let the dine in wait. You will be watching people picking up the food while your table is empty. Food quality wise- as expected.
Probably best Malaysian food in the south. Beef Horfun is my favourite dish but other food are great too. Service is not bad and waiting time is acceptable.
Good service
I ordered Hainanese chicken rice. It’s not authentic. No fragrant taste of chicken. Very bland. Sorry.
Small place. Wouldn't go with a group any larger than I did (8 people) because the layout makes it hard not to be disturbed by the door opening and closing a lot.
Good food. Would be a go to takeout place if I lived in the area.
Staff are super friendly and honest about the wait time.which I overheard them say was about 40mins even though they had a free table. Must be popular on takeaway orders because we dined on a Tuesday.
Would have liked it to be table service. You order and pre-pay at the counter with limited space to line up there. We ended up writing down our whole table's order and sending 1 person up instead of all going.
Overall a nice little casual spot for a 'can't be bothered cooking' night.
This is now a regular place for me to visit for lunch during the weekend or dinner during the week.
It's one of the limited Malaysian restaurants that offer a Hor Fan and other tasty Malaysian dishes!
The staff are always friendly and happy to chat.
The food is always great and I will continue to have this place as a regular.
Really nice food but the service and wait make it 3 stars. Takeaway orders clearly take priority.
3 stars only and only because the food was tasty. Service is very very poor. Upon arrival, we were informed that the wait would be upto half hour however we were served food after more than an hour of wait and after asking multiple times. Priority is given to take aways as I could see parcels being handed out faster than food being served in the restaurant. When the lady finally bought food to our table she didn't apologise or give any explanation for the delay. Its a shame their service is so poor because the food tastes amazing. Visit the place only if you have patience to wait!
1 hr for 2 types of dishes! Useless service.
You told me to come get takeaway in 30 min when it's ready and I got there in 30 min and paid. Then you said it wasn't ready which was fine and said go wait at the front door seating. Then you didn't tell me.for another 30 min that my food was ready. Just love wasting time, maybe call out or something I don't know. I spend $60 /week here cause you're close but I think I'm better off going elsewhere and telling others too as well.
Amazing and authentic Singaporean/Malaysian cuisine with loads of dishes and options. Food is delicious and good range of drinks and authentic desserts. Service is friendly and quite quick considering how busy they often are.
We had chow kwai teoh and chicken laksa. They were pretty good and deserve more than their 4.3 star rating. A good find.
Great food, reasonable price.ordered take away waited bit longer than I expected but, food was amazing. I will definitely try other dish later
Hainanese Chicken Rice deserves a 5 star rating especially they allowed our choice of thigh which is more tender with rice well cooked with chicken broth. Chicken Laska was also above average though we forgot to request a less spicy soup. We give a 4 star rating because of last visit Char Kwei Teow was average.
Average food quality, affordable lunch special price (smaller portions but still large enough). Can be very busy so booking is recommended even for 2p.
Have been there quiet a few times. Food is always consistent and good. Will definitely recommend
We went on a Saturday at 7 pm- had to wait for 55 minutes to an hour for food to arrive. Went in with 2 young children- would have been good to have been forewarned of the long waiting time.
One of the best local restaurants specializes in Malaysia food.particularly recommend their seafood Laksa.they are particularly helpful to those that have special dietary requirements.just ask for what you need including Gluten Free meals
