Little Canton Chinese Restaurant reviews
65Have to update my 4 stars to a 5 star review after my meal here last night. Every dish was fantastic, and the customer service was excellent, even on such a busy night the staff gave my group of 4 time of day, and made sure everything was up to standard.the beef with black bean sauce was one of the tastiest chinese meals i've ever eaten.such an incredible experience, and didnt end up costing us too much! Only about $20 a head! We will be back very soon!
Best Canton food in Adelaide. Accommodating prices with delicious food. The visual is a pleasure too. If any sort of comment is that the people here. Since this is a popular places, if u didn’t book in advance, it generally will take u a while to get a seat.
This restaurant should follow the COVID guide. More than 200 people within 50 meter square and no 1.5 meter square distance. So bad to run the business like this.
The yum cha was a joke, the porridge and steamed dim sum were cold to warm, the deep fried stuffs were soggy, oily and stale. It is not even busy and only tables on a weekday, service is non existence and hard to communicate, the place is pretty run down and falling apart. Better yum cha in everywhere else.
Love their foodbut the quality of the service might depend on how busy they are at that time or that day. I have been there for many times. When they were not really busy, the staff were polite and offered a good service. However, when the restaurant were busy and full of people, the service was not really good.
Great yum cha and really cheap. Only docking a point because the service isn't great and it can be hard to order things.
Great yum cha, good parking, was packed got served in 1 min. Fast service family friendly. Bit pricey but had all my favorite things. Definitely be back soon
The staff were friendly. The amount of food served was very small in comparison to the high cost of the meals.
Great service well priced and they cater to dietary weird stuff like my need for no salt in food!
Average to decent dim sum. Let down by tired interior and relatively high prices. Service was courteous.
Salt and pepper squid was delicious. Egg tarts were really good. Good selection of dishes with some a hit or miss
Yum cha was ok and reasonably priced except some of the special dishes like the small bowl of rice porridge ($12, watch out!). The place gets very busy for Sunday lunch as expected for yum cha. There were some disgruntled customers waiting for booked tables but we got a smaller table ok. The cashier was a bit chaotic afterwards.
After 2 years looking for the best yum cha (dim sum) place in Adelaide, this is the one + friendly staff. Everything is great, except Cheong Fun (rice rolls). Will visit once every quarter just for yum cha.
The best dimsum in Adelaide with great service. I love how you handle a spilled tea situation and how responsive you are when we asked for utensils (unlike other restaurants, the waitress simply left the cart and get the utensils for us, instead of hoping she still remember later.)
We will definitely return to eat here again!
We frequent here for yum cha because its very nice flavoursome dishes. Definitely not for the service. The Yum cha trolley has a good selection in variety and convenient that you don’t have to select from a menu, just pick what you like as it passes.
It’s busy most weekends and the table staff seem to need more customers service training.
Toilets need TLC.
Ample parking.
Yumcha, dim sum tasted nice and hot. But the staff were a bit lost (lack of training). Restaurant in this size, you would expect staff in proper uniform not in leggings and big tops
Friday night dinner, the Service was friendly and prompt, the food was fresh and delicious, had a wonderful time.
Their BBQ Pork dish (叉烧酥) is the No. 1 in Adelaide. Stir fried radish cake with XO sauce is also lovely.
For true blue dim sum, this is the place.
My personal fav
Steam pork rib
Wanton Noodles (sharing portion)
Fried Carrot Cake
Har Gao
Very busy, a small wait for a table for two. I heard to try this place as a recomendation tho we would not be back unforunately. We noticed cleanliness was a little poor with table dressings, the food we had to choice from was lacking of quailty and taste. We had excess fat in the dumplings, and the plum beef was extreamly small with lots of heavily cooked batter. Would not be back unfortunately dissapointing overall
