Largs Pier Hotel

That was disgusting place to invite my friend. Too many staff but useless. They forgot to bring my order

A bit disappointing.
Ordered salt and pepper squid.
The squid was over cooked and chewy.
The chips were only Luke warm.
Really missed the crispy fluffy chips you used to have.

Had never been here. Although Had been past many times, It's a cool old hotel.

Had the arancini balls which were nice in size so they I liked them better than most. Seemed to be able to enjoy the flavor of the inside a bit more. For sure would get them again!

Main course we had the lamb shank and the beef pie with mashed and peas, they were both very yummy! Prices were on average with pretty much everywhere else. Good atmosphere, sat near the fire inside which was nice.

I would go back and try some more dishes they have. Worth a stop in for a good dinner.

Hadn't been to the Pier for a few years and was totally disappointed with the food. I had a seafood plate, salty prawns, covered with, what they said was salt & pepper squid, my wife had the duck breast which was tough and we sent it back, did get our money back on that one. Totally over priced. Poker machines were filthy, lucky we had our own wipes.

I use this place to chill out by the sea and get my head around my work! The serves were very generous and all in all always a repeat visit.

Nice place. Friendly. Was a bit loud with arguing but besides that it was fun and we enjoyed ourselves with a great walk along the pier & ride on a scooter

Had a delicious group lunch at Largs Pier Hotel. Not only was food good, the hotel staff did a great job dealing with our group - very accommodating & helpful. Highly recommend.

Food was average. My partner and I had a chicken Parmy and a lamb pizza. Both of us only ate half of our meal and when the waitress came over she didn’t ask if anything was wrong with the food. I asked for a takeaway container. Shortly after we left, I walked to the car realised I forgot my container and walked back in. It had been no more than one minute and when I went up to the bar and said I forgot my container the waitress who gave me the container said she had already threw it in the bin. They did not even put it aside for 5 minutes seeing as we had only been given the container 5 minutes prior to leaving. I will not be having dinner there again.

Fantastic service, meals were very generous in size and very tasty. Had a friends birthday today. We will all be back again. Well done to the largs pier crew.

Friendly, efficient staff, the meal was served promptly and was hot and scrumptious. I hadn't been for there a while I shall most definitely be returning soon. I went at lunchtime it was very busy unusual for me I hadn't prebooked a table, but luckily there was one available.

The food here is absolutely delicious! Seriously, try the prosciutto-wrapped chicken breast or braised beef cheeks. Staff are friendly, accommodating and service was quick, with all meals brought out together. For a delicious meal served by an open fire, definitely book a table at the Largs Pier Hotel.

The menu is adventurous with lots of Vegetarian options. A beautiful historical setting with a lovely view.

Normally I would give this place 5 stars, but not this time. We dropped in for an afternoon coffee & ordered 2 x large lattes. 2 x regular lattes came out in error, so they took them back inside in came back within 1 minute with 2 x large lattes. It appeared that all they did was pour them into mugs (there was milk dribble marks all the way down the mugs) & added milk as it was lukewarm at best & just tasted like milk, not coffee. Very disappointed I spent $10 on something that was very sub standard. It was 3pm on a sunday arvo as well, so it was not very busy so I don't know why they couldn't make us 2 x hot coffees as per our original order on a cold winter's day? Not going to order coffee from here again, we left very disappointed.

Aboriginal female in the front bar makes a terrible coffee and my friend said the same to me. She requires barista training and also an attitude adjustment. I won’t be returning to Largs Pier anytime soon purely because of her atrocious customer service.

Excellent, Excellent everything, food to good for pub food. Excellent decor and fantastic atmosphere and service. 5 star.

A wonderful location. Take a walk along the beach after your lunch. There were 14 of us and all meals were amazing. Thank to the great staff. Especially Andy.

What a great find. Great pub meals, the salt and pepper squid was excellent could not finish it all even with my husband's help. Burgers were delicious. Definitely will go back. Staff are friendly. Very clean pub overlooking the water great way to spend a rainy day today awesome

I had to change my review due to the undercooked /raw chicken wings we were served. The money was refunded, but no apologies from the chef. Disappointed to say the least, considering we are regular patrons there.

Although my meal was OK my brother had steak and he said it was not very good my friend had a dish with garlic in and he could not taste the garlic. There was a very long wait for our food. Staff very good and friendly.
