La Boca Bar and Grill Adelaide

Walked in on a Wednesday at 1pm for lunch with my daughter. No one approached us for a good ten minutes because the staff that clearly saw us were busy having a chit chat behind the counter. So we walked out. There were only three or four other tables with customers so there’s no excuse for poor service. Won’t be coming back regardless if the food is good.

Our order was forgotten and we had to wait for over an hour to get our food.

The sides we ordered came different from the menu.
Cheesy Broccoli and cauliflower was missing the broccoli. Rosemary chips had no rosemary at all. And the rocket, pear and Parmesan salad had absolutely not a single slice of pear.

The steak was ok, sides tasted good despite of being incomplete.

Staff was very friendly and apologetic though. Overall would have been a better night if it was not for the long waiting.

The steak itself was nice. But when all the food came out it was already cold. And they said it was apple crumble but it was peach. And way over priced for families

Food took forever to come. One person didn't get their order. Personally my burger was dry Sure they gave a bottle wine as apology. But not great.

I was there three times and always ordered skirt. The first time it was perfect, the second time they gave me other type of meat, thinking I won't notice, I still ate it. Today I went back and they sold me an even worse piece of meat for skirt, very tough. Poor ethics as a business and meat is sometimes good and sometimes bad. Don't recommend it.

Brilliant $15 express lunch or an Argentinian Feast for about $48pp depending on what night you go. Beautiful meats and good sides.

Absolutely beautiful, the bar tender took 5 secconds to speeks with me as i waited to be seated which is fantastic service and the waitress who assisted us was excellent, and the food was absolutely amazing!

The waiter appeared intoxicated, he spilt our whole tray of drinks and smashed them. Ordered food, took 30mins to get just chips where the same waiter dropped the tray and the chips landing on the ground. After 40mins post order we got the chips.

Wow. Wow. Wow. I love their grilled chicken with Verde, salad, mushrooms, steak, amazing. Even kids enjoyed their chicken and chips.
Love the place with its look and interior. But the grilled food is the best.

My first experience here for dinner wasn't the greatest, not only did I pay good money for under cooked lamb but nothing was done about it after I raised my conern to staff. It's a bar and grill correct? Not bar and seared.

I am full. Really yummy food (mainly meat), excellent fast service and great drinks. Will be back again soon.

Really great food which would worth the high prices except there are no options for those with food allergies and they're not at all accommodating. Some staff were very friendly a few were really not at all.

Food was good but RIDICULOUSLY expensive, to be fair it was christmas but we came for a light meal in which we told the staff who were happy to seat us. We were in there for max 20 mins and ate very small meals but were charged over $200 with absolutely no warning.
Once again food was not bad but no where near worth the price. Would recommend but be very careful.

Share plates are interesting but no salad or vegetables. Dined in an upstairs room with a beautiful view across North Terrace.

Worst experience in years waited an hour for food asked well done steak the steak came back more rare didnt get the sides for over hour and a half

Ordered the In-House Dry Aged 350g Sirloin last Saturday and wanted it rare to medium rare and side of corn. I cancelled the corn just 1 minute after and they said it was ok. They gave me a medium to medium well steak and they still brought me the side of corn that i cancelled. I've eaten in less pricey pubs that cook it right.

Food was 1st class pleasant atmosphere value was OK timing of serving meals could be improved but will definitely go back.

This place is to fancy for the amount of expenses you get for a lack of food.
It is nice but I was not full, it was two bites.

Thought we’d try something different and have Argentinian food. Service was very good, but we found the signature platter meats to be very oily. So much so that it became too hard to eat. The meat was very tender and would have been magnificent if it wasn’t for all the oil dripping off it.
Empanadas were excellent.

I do miss the old lunchador menu and the lunch burgers they used to have. However the current express lunch deal is just as good and generally consistent. I only gave it a 4 star as the extra meat is not double meat but half of the standard serve. While not misleading, the presumption of extra meat is double the meat.
